i feel that ones raised in the truth are so much better of than us who came in from the world.
i say that because they have family who are witnesses too.
ones raised in the truth have a study all their life and then study with a bro or sis (when teenager) for 3 years or more...
Wow! things I guess have really changed since I was in. I was born in or close enough anyway. I was never studied with as a teenager. I vaguely remember family studies but for all I know it was just preparation for one of the meetings. I think I gave up listening at age 5...it just got so repetative.

i posted my first thread a few days ago and some of you asked me questions i'm more than willing to answer.
but there is so much i want to say to you there's no way i can convey all the information at one sitting, so i've decided to tackle one subject at a time, both for the sake of not boring you and because i'd love to know how you feel about each individual topic.
Really interesting thread. My opinon, be it humble or not, the whole mess is a crock. If there is a god I don't believe he sanctioned any part of the bible. It is all just the ramblings of men.

I think it definately had an effect on how I interact with "worldly" people. I am not at all comfortable in social situations even though I fake it pretty good. My husband is the only one I met after that I am 100% comfortable with. But maybe that would have been me anyway so who could possibly know.
