  in the last six months i have learned so much about jw's from the "apostate" books and web sites such as jwfacts and this great site.

  ever since i started my research on jw's three adjectives to describe the wts leadership came to mind: deceptive, arrogant and manipulative.

  i just noticed today that the first letters create the acronym dam.

  Personally mP I am sick to death of America EVER going to the aid of other countries in need. We have millions HERE without food, sheter, medical care, education. I wish we would seal up our borders heavily and start taking care of our own. Screw international trade, we are capable of 100% self reliance and that is what I would like to see.

  i was reading the find whitney heichel page of fb and the moderator has posted info about another missing girl in oregon (non-jw) well, apparantley this missing girl has some sort of a past or something and people are getting on the site (mostly jw's) and making rude remarks about this girl has a bad past and that it's prob her fault.

  i can't fathom how they can get on there after the horrible tragedy of whitney and yet because this other missing girl is not jw somehow now they attach fault to her going missing.

  this is exactly why i can't deal with jw's.

  Moment of silence for Oompa

  i can be very emotional about certain things and when i heard about oompa, even though i don't know him i was sometimes in tears about it, i will miss his posts, what i want to do for oompa is to have a moment of silence for him, i know i don't post on here much am more of a lurker but also i want everyone else to have a moment of silence also for our friend and also for all the others who have committed suicide because of the watchtowers policys..

  Femine supplies advice help needed

  i'm divorced and i have a daughter who is nearly 11. last year she watched a video in school covering upcoming body changes (which she already knew about).

  but one suggestion they gave that i didn't think of was to go get femine supplies and be prepared for when the time comes.

  i like being prepared ahead of time for emergencies.

  I would start her off with pads. Not a heavy duty but just for a light to medium flow. It has been years since I had to worry about such stuff but even when I needed them they were individually compactly descetely packaged. They make a tampon that is small for younger users but that is not something you are going to want to explain how to use when her emotions are going to be through the roof. I would leave that method for a discussion between her mom and her unless she specifically ask you .

  i realize that most democrats and republicans will simply vote their party preference this election.

  but i can see romneycare possibly becoming a big issue for independents.

  this issue portrays romney as a flip-flopper, and might create a lack of trust in him.

  i have a question for the author of the website jwfacts.

  as i was reading the sparlock article, i couldn't help but notice something seriously wrong:.

  "the bible abounds in vivid fantasy, such as its many celestial descriptions, or the portrayal of warring kingdoms with imaginary beasts.. the sparlock message is confusing, as much for an adult as for a child, as the bible shows that god's followers practice magic, even if they are usually referred to as miracles.

  I am sorry. I had to chuckle at one point in this thread when (at post 132 of Recovery) I would have swore I was sitting thru a talk at a Kingdom Hall.

  "Notice" blah blah blah. Perhaps the joy of pioneering is returning to you now. It sure is making it easier to get your hours in here.
