Today was day 1 of my district cultvention

some of the memorable moments today would be:.

1) the nutty mother on stage with her little boy who became an unbaptized publisher at 6. i missed his current age, but he was a tiny little kid, couldn't be much older than a couple years over 6. tomorrow he gets baptized.

2) the husband and wife couple who work part-time to pioneer, but wanted to do more so they sold their home, down-sized to one car and made other adjustments to make their lives more simple to put the kingdom first.

Boy am I glad that I haven't step a foot for the past 4 years....What a CRAP...WT is really CRAP...I just can't get it how they mess my life for 33 years...

A 6 year old baptized!!! GB, their elders,are INSANE...How can they condemn other Christians for baptizing their kids, despite the fact that event ancient Israelites had their infants circumsized. How can they make such fuzz since a 6 year old child cannot decide for serious matters. And the most EVIL of that SHIT CULT, when that child grows and becomes 20 and decides to leave that SHIT CULT he will have to suffer of that EVIL sactions of disfellowship by the WT SHIT CULT.

last night my husband and i were out having ice cream @ culvers when we noticed a group of jws coming in after their meeting .. it seemed a celebration for one family.

we saw the father of the family was all dressed up and associating with everyone .

he had da'd himself over 20 yrs ago and has been blacklisted from family and friends this whole time .i guessed last night was his reinstatement to the cult .

How on earth could some offer a book like "Surviving Into A New Earth" when everything in that book is OLD LIGHT...It says about the "generation" that it will not pass away and they will witness the end of this system, the heavenly door was closed in 1931, the preaching of JW's separates sheep from goatlike ones!!! This is the best way to "kill" a bible study by showing their past doctrines and their "mistakes"

here are my thoughts.. it is pretty obvious that there was no global flood 4,000 years ago.

First of all if you take the Bible text it does not speak about global flood. Noahs flood was regional and it took place only in the Mesopotamia basin. The fact is that we had world wide flood after the last ice age 10,500 years ago that is why we find the legend of flood in many places in the world. From India, Greece, Babylonia, Aborigines of Australia, Native American Indians.

Plus the Bible DOES contain mistakes since it was written by Humans but never the less this does not cancel the Divine Inspiration of the Bible

The desperation of JWs hoping the end comes "soon"

i'm starting to sense a certain desperation among jws, that they feel that the great tribulation must start soon.

i think this is due, in many cases, to their own personal situation, financial or otherwise.. if the gt doesn't come soon, and these guys really start to suffer - what then?

the watchtower's promises that "jehovah would not forsake them if they put kingdom interests first" by skipping or dropping out of college, turning down promotions, "simplifying" their lives by selling their homes and moving to the hinterlands...will all prove to be meaningless.. if the gt doesn't come soon, and "jehovah" doesn't bail them out...then what?.

This desperation can easily identified in the eyes of the old JW's. I know many, now in their late 60's and 70's that gave all of their life to the WT putting their eggs in one basket. They have seen the "generation" change that personally I believe marked the countdown of the WT.

Before 1995 JW's have something to hope for: That soon Armageddon will solve all of their problems...Eventually another false expectation came, without seeing the end and scattered their dreams for a "new world"...I see my mother at mid 60's still hoping that the end will come SOON!!! She always telling me that we are deep in the last days and Armageddon is about to start...unfortunately their hopes of a new system will never come true just like it happened with the Bible Students in 1914, 1925, JW's 1975 and final with the generation change 15 years ago...

JW's at 40's-50's most of them children in the 1975 fiasco, I consider them as the victims of WT's paranoia, that the end will come soon. Many left school like my self to become pioneers since Armageddon will put an end to this world and all we needed was WT's books and magazines to survive from the coming catastrophic event. Most youths at my age have been mislead by the leadership of the WT that we would NEVER GROW OLD and we would have a family in the new system.

Most of them left WT and those who are in still strugle with financial problems due to their lack of education. I have seen that most of my schoolmates(wordly)are in good financial state enjoying their life, have a good career, while on the contrary due to the fact of leaving school created me lot of problems, specially to build a career. After leaving WT I tryied to build a career besides the difficulties and really it took much of my efford and time. I'm 15 years behind schedule and this is a terrifying since my "wordly friends" have been educated, created a career, and all this until their early 30's, while I started doing that to the early 40's!!!

Still I'm seeing that WT keeps the same boring tune: Don't educate, wordly education is worthless, the end is NEAR, pioneer...I don't know how long JW's can stand this crap and the leadership of that cult to mess up their lifes, but what I'm sure of WT dig their own grave due to their stupid policies...JW's are humans like everyone they wish to have normal life, good job that pays you enough to have a good life.

former elder, and assembly overseer roberto from france will be joining barbara and joe anderson on tonight's conference call, july 18,2009. roberto was disfellowshipped in june 2009 and after many faithful years of service is now joining thousands of others who are speaking out against the evils of the watchtower organization.

our call tonight will be focused on how the country of france, as well as other european countries are investigating jehovah's witnesses.

the watchtower organization is experiencing difficulties in these countries for the inhumane treatment and exerting too much control over people's lives.

Roberto, is good that you have spoken out clearly regarding your identity. It takes a lot of courage to stand up against WT Cult. I will listen to your interview on Six Screens later on.

We know WT is having a hard time in Europe and especially in France. That evil Cult is loosing members in Europe. I’m watching also some of the web sides in other languages here in EU and I see JW’s opening their eyes. There are many who stay due to family reasons and no longer have faith to the so called “Organization”. They have seen their lies, false prophecies, flip-flop doctrines, the lack of Biblical Education that forms the writing committee of the WT, UN scandal, pedophilia scandal, just to name a few.

I have seen some “interesting comments” from dear Renaia and I feel that I should answer some of her allegations regarding Roberto and to some other friends in this forum:

WT has no Biblical back up of having what they call it “judicial committee. There is not even one Biblical Text either in the old or New Testament that a Judicial Case should be behind close doors. On the contrary in Ancient Israel it was a trial with OPEN doors so that EVERYONE should know the outcome. So why WT’s trials are behind close doors?
You accused Ray Franz of making many JW’s to stumble…give us a break Renaia with your crap ok…you make us sick don’t you realize it…Ray Franz helped many ex-JW to find the real meaning of Christian Freedom. Besides Ray was only just telling the TRUTH about the “truth”. And the truth really HURTS…It hurts a lot specially when you are a false prophet like WT, and you know that your foundations are based on SAND….Truth must always be told no matter what are the consequences.
Can you imagine what it will be the impact if Ray Franz, Yionson and others stand up in open door Court??? The very next day the only ones would have stay to support the WT is the so called “Governing Body” with no one to rule… and those old fools they know their time is running out. They are living in darkness that is why they cannot stand the power of LIGHT…They never possessed the “Truth” and they NEVER WILL

By the way if you wish to know my status, yes I was disfellowshiped for apostasy (according to WT’s stupid rules) few years ago because I was seeking for answers…if I was going to continue as an elder I needed to be completely sure of my faith. Instead to have answers I was threatened to disfellowship if I didn’t blindly accept what ever comes from Brooklyn as “truth”… I’m glad that I’m free from that Cult that claims to be “god’s organization” and all they really care is how to control every single aspect of my life and other 6,500,000.

And like many in this forum our goal is to DESTROY the lies of the WT, because TRUTH does not afraid of lies, and light of the darkness.

Perhaps you should stop being so self righteous like Pharisees and start to think with open mind why there is so much pain caused by the WT. Jesus was talking to humble ones, sinners, prostitutes and those who needed a spiritual healing. This is how we should view Jesus and that’s what I have found being a Christian. The Church is a place of spiritual healing of our souls and NOT a place of judging and condemning like WT does. Is a place of forgiveness and most of all a place that feels our soul with the Love of our Lord and God Jesus…

Is the Society's message to JW's getting stronger?

during a dinner conversation with a loyal jw, he mentioned that the society seems to be making stronger statements to jw's.

he mentioned the "keep on the watch" brochure, and how it seemed to be for jw's as well as the public.

he acknowledged the "personal questions" the society were asking us, in the brochure - how pointed and direct they are, even asking you to rank your physical and spiritual activities on a scale of 1 to 10. .

Hell indeed is getting stronger...I know from my JW relatives that the WT is really pushing and pushing that the end IT IS SO CLOSE...In a meeting they had recently "elders" told them to store dry food and other needs because "great tribulation" is about to begin...you can see this message in their latest convention, the new books they printed out. I just don't know how long they will keep on pushing poor JW's.

How long are going to stretch this alarm. It has been around for 150 years...

If Jesus would makes an "inspection" in 2009 what standarts He will have? Those in 1919 or the current WT teachings?

Will Jesus had a different way of "measuring" WT in 1919 and others for 2009?

If Jesus supposely chose WT for specific teachings in 1919 will those teaching aply also in 2009?

The bibles missing books

throughout the bible it constantly points to books which havent been included in the codex.for example it says "see the book of enoch" or "enoch prophesied of these..".and "see the book of jasher" as well as others.. the watchtower has always said that even though babylon the great isnt gods organization that they happened to be guided by gods holy spirit when they decided which books to cananize and which to not.. only thing is thinking about it one thing springs to mind!.

if they are written about in scripture under the israelites and under the christians of the 1st century then they were of course using these "missing books" back then anyway.. so the watchtowers stance on this is flawed.. does anyone else have anymore information on these missing books or the watchtowers info on this?.

That is why in the Orthodox Chuch all Bishops are equal and most off all in serious matters the majority will decide, just like it happened in the first Synodos of Nicaia when the Arian Herecy started to be vary dangerous.

Unfortunately the only reason that the Papal Church left the East Orthodox Church has to do with political games by the Franks. That is why many Popes new this fact and try to guard the Unity of the Church, like Pope Leontios who carved in silver plates the Symbol of Faith in Saint Paul's Church at Rome.

The Protestand movement instead of looking back to the Original church, has broken from the Catholics. As a result we have thousands of Protestand groups, claiming that they are the real followers of Christ...

But at the end of the day we will are all going to be judged according to our deeds and our heart. God is righteous and with Jesus sacrifice we are all going to have a fair judgement by the God of Love. This is one of the major teaching of the Holy Apostolic Orthodox Church..
