Diest.. how do you want to measure productivity of a CEO vs a minimum wage worker? There is really no comparison... Productivity has increased in part because people are working harder, but also the increase in automation.
I'll bet that the ratio of increased income for the wage worker is in line with the amount of effort hey put into their work and not their productivity. -

by Alfred inhello all..... a few months ago my wife expressed serious concerns about the time i had spent over the past couple of years reading old watchtower literature (printed circa 1880 through the late 30s) and the time spent on this site and several others.
she is very grateful that i was very persistent in trying to convince her that this is just a mind-control cult run by clueless men who simply make things up as they go along.
it wasnt easy, but im thankful that i was able to wake her up thanks to many of you.

Solar Eclipse Tomorrow, May 20, 2012
by ohiocowboy infor anyone interested, tomorrow there will be an annular eclipse of the sun, which will be seen from china and japan to the middle of the united states.. below is a link to a site that shows an animated map of how the eclipse will appear in your neck of the woods.
just click on your state or country and go from there.. if you want any more info on this eclipse, you can do a google search.. here in the dfw area, the sun will be eclipsed about 90%, which should still provide a decent show.
those living on the east coast of the usa will not be able to see it though, due to the fact that the sun will already have set in that area..

Us in Arizona have a good seat. We're traveling a bit north today to see it. I've got my pinhole cardboard paper ready. No direct observations for us -- we don't have welding hemlmets :)

World map showing net reduction in publisher numbers
by cedars inmp has asked which country has lost the most publishers, and i decided to investigate.
one thing led to another, and i decided to produce another world map, this time showing the net reduction in publishers for each country.. this has been calculated by means of the following equation for each country:.

Just checking in. I moved to Sedona AZ. sight unseen two months ago.....
by Was New Boy inhaven't been on the board for awile....i just want to let you all know you have a friend here in sedona.
my home is open to friends who would like to vist.
sedona gets over 4 million vistors a year....a few more would be welcome.. peace out.
