  NO doubt, these men who are no one out in the world. Have let the power go to their little tiny heads. I've seen them be merciless when someone was repentant and wanted to change and they still DF'd her. They're much harder on women. A brother commits adultery and says I'm sorry gets reproved a sister commits adultery and says I'm sorry gets DF'd. To much power for their little minds.

  This is not me. I've never committed adultery and I've not been DF'd yet.

  This is true. I have difficulty when individuals blame everything wrong with their families and life on being JW. It makes their story less credible. Some have attributed family problems to JW'dom that would have been carried on in the family regardless of religion. Behaviors such as incest, alcoholism, and addiction are family secrets. That didn't start when the JWs knocked on their door. Being more specific as to how elders didn't help or covered up the wrong doing is a more credible way of relating a story.If you want JWs to listen.

  Carbon dating isn't reliable?

  i was talking to a relative the other night who told me that pbs had a program on tv some weeks back, and they interviewed many reputable scientist who said that carbon dating doesn't work.

  has anybody heard about this?

  i know god exsists, i am conviced christ is god's son soley on biblical merit.

  i find i can work with the machinery just tryin not to get caught in it.it may be lame and pathetic but its my reality.

  your 20 year old son / daughter announces that he / she is involved in an intense relationship with someone that is causing you to have some misgivings.. said offspring also announces that wedding bells will be ringing inside a year or two.

  firstly though, our two lovebirds have plans to set up home together and live in delightful sin whilst they save up for the big day.

  Does your son listen to your advice?

  This is very important because 18-20 year old usually romanticize how life will be with their love. A child will bond them for better or worse for life.They may still be in the personal fable stage.

  It must be difficult to observe adult children make their own choices good or bad.

  English you need to be careful you don't make an enemy of a possible mother of your grandchildren.

  What a manipulative talk!! People just like my grandmother will fall hook line and sinker for and further empty her coffers to this beastly organization.

  This is who their aiming this talk at, grandma. Maybe she'll will her property or life insurance or anything she has to WTS. I know someone who used to work in the estate planning dept. He owns many rental properties himself and told me that many witnesses are extremely wealthy. They live modestly and hide it from the cong. He's not selling his property for the WTS.

  As TR said if they only counted time actually spent talking about the Bible...

  Especially the pioneers riding around, back and forth from one end of town to the other end, all day wasting time. I've probably spent more time discussing the Bible with people in one year than they have in their whole lives. When I report only a few hours a year.

  Until recently, I was always honest about my time but I know they’ll turn on me if I offically become inactive. I’m just to confused. If I do go out in service I won’t use literature only the Bible. I still believe the Bible. I won’t mention the WT. I wonder how long it will tale for them to pick up on this?

  Hard to believe I was once an atheist.
