  regardless of your opinions of anonymous, they have been busy working against the watchtower society and may end up inflicting some serious damage soon.

  anonymous has a very different culture than the xjw community.

  they should not be seen as in alliance with us, even though we share some common goals.. anonymous tends to resent being viewed as a personal army for another person or group.

  i'm a big science nerd and i remember when we were going over the creator book, that the big bang doesn't necessarily prove there is no god.. i said this comment during book study and the conductor's jaw dropped.

  everyone was pretty uncomfortable and it didn't help that he ct me off as i was explaining the red shift and mom wasn't too happy about all that.

  i had to do a lot of bible research and write some nonsense about how the big bang was not reality or some sort...ugh.. .

  I don't doubt Rocky Girl's story, but that's amazing.

  Corrupt elduh would probably say she was reproved for an unsubmissive attitude or some crap like that, but even so - being reproved for someone else's dream!

  Paleo vs. Vegan - are there any folks out there?

  i am thinking of going paleolithic on my new diet (just to spurn the wtbts that there were cavemen).

  if you have don the paleo deal or are doing it...let me know the pitfalls, or the plusses,.

  i can't do vegan as i need more protein and hate what bean and rice do to be (teee heee).

  can the law be an enemy of cult victims?.

  one thing i have believed for a long time is that the techniques used by cults on their victims are far more sophisticated and subtle than the techniques used by some of the early mind control techniques used by the cia in its experiments, the re-education programs of china that lifton researched.. alan scheflin and steven hassan started off immediately by validating that belief.

  trading insults happens among kids all the time.. intellectual development hasn't progressed to the point where they can present contrary ideas and opinions with persuasive appeal to reasons, facts and logic.. "i know you are; but what am i?".

  "your momma's so fat....".

  so, they fall back on childish mocking, provocation and personal attack.. as we grow older and have more education and sophistication our minds should mature---or so you'd think!.

  Question to the wise ones

  just want to know what anyones thoughts/advice please.

  am doing my best to put the "bf" out of my mind and move on (did a real number on me) but more things have come to light recently but if i was to "rat on him" who would i approach and how would i phrase it?

  i doubt if going to go down that road but would be interested to know.

  Honestly sweetheart, I'd say cut your loses and go. Chances are his wife has suspicions. Chances also are if you told other elders in his hall, he'd say you were lying OR he'd pull the repentant preacher act.

  You've got nothing to win here. Take your freedom & don't hurt yourself any more by having anything further to do with this arse.
