  Jehovahs Witness History ?

  i understand that many jehovahs witnesses don't know the history of their own beleifs.

  but, what i don't understand is that they always say "god always had an organization on earth.

  "they simply just talk about how they use to be called "bible students" back in their early days.

  Don't forget Nathan Knorr. He turned Rutherford's religious literature sales company, into an organised, corporate religion.

  Under Knorr, the blood transfusion ban came in as did disfellowshipping. I think Knorr is highly culpable for the watchtower talmud.

  the drone running the show asked an auxiliary question (tm):.

  "so, what could be some of the consequences if people weren't honest in reporting their field service?".

  Ooh, well. I haven't been out on first call, return visits, or placed any 'zines for a year now. But my report is always a healthy 8-12 hours, 4 rvs, 10 mags.

  Sometimes I make a 'special effort' and change the numbers a bit.

  Question about disfellowshipping/disassociation

  if someone sends an email or text to an elder telling them that they are involved in a wrongdoing and not planning on stopping and then does not respond to reply emails or text messages from that elder, what will happen?

  can the elders announce at a meeting that so and so is no longer a jw or do they have to inform them first?

  i have a friend that did this and 2 elders came by her work to see her but she wasn't there, then they tried to call her at work but she told her co-workers to tell them that she was in a meeting.

  I know Christmas is "wrong", but for god's sakes, what's so "wrong" about New Near's day?

  this time of the year is the most stressful for jw's(especially progressive jws) as they have to explain to non-jws why they don't celebrate christmas and new year's days.. i can understand the religious implications of christmas day, but what about new years?

  what is so wrong about looking forward to new beginings?

  was new year celebration also started by "christendom/ babylon the great"?

  So based on WT reasoning new year's celebrations are as pagan as doors and gates.

  I wonder if we could sell knocking on doors as a pagan tradition honouring Janus...

  How do we help? Preaching, contributions and submissive obedience.

  WTS teaches that the symbol of life is more important than life itself. Once I realised that, the blood doctrine made no sense at all. Let alone the Pharasaical 'component' v fraction debate.
