  Yeah, I think the wierd part is that they or at least some of them think they were actually appointed by H.S., but in fact it was holy shit !!!! heeees an elder? The other side of the coin is, is that there are a lot of them who actually want to take care of the flock, at least I'm hoping so. But in reality, I haven't met many of them I thought very much of.

  i've got a theory that it starts with people hurting us and only then does the "apostate" turn to looking at the beliefs.. anybody who started questioning beliefs first?.

  people's behavior, questioned how they and only they can be right and no one else., then 607 and that definitely opened the dam. began to see the misquoting of scripture, the additioned of jehovah in the NT while none of the extant existing copies of manuscripts don't have it in it. the hell bent attitude for unity at all costs and then the bs about elders being picked by holy spirit quickly became ridiculous.

  many of you have heard this recording, but i wanted to post it again for some of you (bottleofwater) that will possibily be in jc's soon.

  rick townsend does an excellent job (imo) of attempting to defend his position to the elders.

  in nearly every category his arguments are stronger.. it is a bit frustrating to listen to because of the elders lack of reasoning ability, but rick is amazing.

  The undo importance given to an individual got my goat, what they hell, the ass kissing, when the CO or DO come orl they come in combo,. come on talk about undo imporltance given to an individual. Or how about how people act when a bethelite shows up. gee undo huh???

  You have learned a very important tenet of friendship, it isn't conditional and real friendship never is. Wanted to ask why China, sounds like that would have been very interesting, and how did it happen that you were able to go to China (communist or otherwise) and study?   i work for law enforcement.. yesterday, i did a criminal history search on a walter salter.. seriously.. next, i suppose will be a charles russell, joseph rutherford, olin moyles, or frederick franz!.

  okay, i wanted to know more about the jws, so i went to the website and filled in my name and other info.

  i was finally contacted, set up an appointment and visited.

  the first two people came and they were nice, but one of the fellows looked uptight and avoided eye contact.
