A Popular Question Raised by people who were never JW.

i talk to a lot of people about the watchtower because it comes up in conversation all of the time.. money eventually becomes a topic as it is a very wealthy corporation.. so the question is always raised and it is a good one, "who controls it?".

people want to know "who has the power of the purse strings?

" and quite frankly so do i.. there is someone behind the scenes who knows so much that the wtbts could never fire him or her.

exposing where the money goes would be something, but for a group that wants its member to be transparent in their lives, they sure do live behind shadows don't they. someone is benifiting from all the sums that go in there. remember the r&f bethelites take a vow or proverty, don't know if the GB or higher ups do, but with all the benefits they receive and green handshakes they are duping the irs out of moved that probably should be piad to them.

Parasitical pharisees is a good name for the GB. They don't deserve any adoration or respect, they remind me of congress pass laws they aren't subject to, while expecting the r&f to donate their lives to obeying them without question. vermin one and all.

i asked her: "hypothetically..., what if the mormons were the ones with the true religion?

would you think it would be fair or loving for god to destroy you, me and our child, just because we didn't respond to them at the door?".

she didn't really have much of an answer...i hope it will kick in some "deep thoughts".

Hopefully that question and her mental response to it, will flow around her mind from time to time and when she hears at the hall that they are doing a life saving work maybe, just maybe she will see the inconsistency of their outlook as compared to others. Hopefully she will start to see the chink in their armour.

As Blonde plainly pointed out the ministry was to be done by the 12 not the others. Too bad that the supposed GB can't get this into their heads, There was no proclamation to have one and all participate in any ministry. Jdubs like to sight matthew and say that we are given a commission which is sheer Bs if they read from verse prior to that that would see that that supposed commission was given to the apostles. But that doesn't fit the WT agenda and would severely harm their publishing company.

They can't say they were wrong they say it in "new light" what a bunch of malarkey. The GB is no more humble and discreet than a charging Lion. Remember that verse about going around like a lion to to consume us. Well that verse more than likey pertains to the GB. They want to consume your thought process, whatever monies you may have and they want to consume your independence.

It's all about trying to project something that really isn't happening, so that they can control you. The only spirit governing them is the spirit of how can we control the masses more and astound them with our insight/lies. New light by the Gb is like adding a more powerful light in your living room and rinding instead that you are in the bathroom or the garage, just a bunch of Bs on their part.

my understanding is that all jws originally took the emblems.

then when numbers went over 144k "noo lite" showed not all were destined for heaven but the leftover surplus were now going to live on.

The memorial is such a waste, why even go there, just to pass some emblems along. A time waster if there ever was one. And of course they have to bring up if any in the congreagion are new and want a study, like sure they just got through telling you have wonderful the "anointed" are and then the elders and blah blah blah and do they really think anyone would want to study with them. Please!!!!

I Was Offered A Bible Study By The Elders

2 elders, the cobe and his sidekick, a former bethelite and a young ms (elder in waiting) stopped by my mom's home while i was visiting with her.

they were very congenial and eventually asked me if i got invited to the memorial and whether they could arrange a future visit with me and a possible study.

i thanked them and told them i appreciated their invitation but that i was going to "pass at this time" but thanked them for their concern.. they recited a "wonderful experience" about a young man that was raised in the "truth" but wanted out so he decided to go to asia where he could not be found by witnesses.

Use some critical thinking on the story they told you. young man bound for Asia and neighboring countries, and then gets diverted to Japan. Please Flights bound for Thailand don't get diverted, they may be delayed, when i have flown to Thailand we didn't go by was of Japan. Went went to Hawaii and then directly to Thailand. Or fly Singapore airlines to singapore and then on to Thailand. Examine the story and when he got there he say a jdub first thing, really? Since when are groups allowed into the arrival termainals to hand out magazines. Come on man think, this is BS from start to finish you should have asked what that mythical man's name was (Andre maybe). Just more Bs that they heard if they weren't making it up at some assembly where the facts can't be checked.

as we all know voting or any political involvement is a big bad no no in the jw org.

i actually have been a registered voter since i was 18 and was still in the org.

obviously i kept that very quiet until i made my break from the org.

Going out with a collective bang?

i've been thinking recently that i should just disassociate from the jws and be done with it.

i've been straggling along for over ten years now without believing it so it's probably about time i made a clean break and moved on.. but i really detest the fact that the announcement at the kingdom hall no longer makes any distinction between those who are disfellowshipped and those who disassociate themselves.

what a sleekit way for the organization to disguise the fact that many people choose to leave of their own accord rather than being thrown out for supposed wrongdoing.

announ ce it in a comment, that way everyone there will know why you are departing, and there can't be any misconceptions about it. although some will still gossip and say things. And announcing yourself in a comment will rob the elder body of saying that you are not one of the jdubs any more and leave it to peoples imagination as to why and of course they will think you did something wrong and had to be dismissed. It will never occur to any of them that you can no longer stomach the lies and decption and the wanting of worship for the GB.
