I have never had a problem telling the elders and others who ask, that the door to door work is a complete waste of time. Boring, unmotivating, and uninspirational. And hardly god assigned. now where in the bible does it say all have to ministers, or that all have to go city to city, door to door or any others nonsense. It's only a publishing company that wants you to do that, donate $$$ for their literature (i'm using that word recklessly) and if you get a donation as you are suppose to intimate they do, then by gosh you have to give that money to the WTBTS too. The door to door is and always has been a $$$ manking scam.

Yeah, I think the wierd part is that they or at least some of them think they were actually appointed by H.S., but in fact it was holy shit !!!! heeees an elder? The other side of the coin is, is that there are a lot of them who actually want to take care of the flock, at least I'm hoping so. But in reality, I haven't met many of them I thought very much of.

people's behavior, questioned how they and only they can be right and no one else., then 607 and that definitely opened the dam. began to see the misquoting of scripture, the additioned of jehovah in the NT while none of the extant existing copies of manuscripts don't have it in it. the hell bent attitude for unity at all costs and then the bs about elders being picked by holy spirit quickly became ridiculous.

rick townsend does an excellent job (imo) of attempting to defend his position to the elders.
in nearly every category his arguments are stronger.. it is a bit frustrating to listen to because of the elders lack of reasoning ability, but rick is amazing.
