My wife's sister (lengthy but I need help)

in march 2005, i met my future wife zuly.

a month later, i met her sister anahi.. zuly is younger than anahi, and is the only one in her family to have never conformed to being a witness.

in fact, she just today told a guy in a santa clause costume that she had no clue about the outside world until she met me, and that she realized her family had been demonizing everything for nothing.

arko_n(ne there is nothing like like some kind of tragedy happening to bring out the real colors in people. Then and only then will you see the true person behind the watchtower persona. Are they truly uncaring people or does the care and concern show up and manifest itself in deed or words of real kindness or are they harsh, or uncaring, and show no concern for the feeling or lot in life of the individual who experienced the tragedy. You may find a few people who truly are caring in the borg but it has been my experience with our tragedy that they are very few and far inbetween.

hopefully love bombing her will help and letting her know you really care about her and show that you do hopefully will put a crack in the wall of her belief in the lies of the watchtower.

JW Trying to Refute Don Cameron's book

one thing he brought up was a new one to me.

he mentioned the "refinement" prophecies in malachi 3 and daniel 12, and how cameron totally ignores them!

somewhat similar to the light getting brighter idea from proverbs, implying that teachings would become more "refined" as time goes on.

Some or perhaps more than some (what number is that) in the jehovahs nonwitnesses actually are delusional, self applying delusion. If they don't hear what is the party line then it is a lie, or we are suppose to misunderstand. They aren't going to wake up anytime soon, they don't want to, it would burst the little bubble they have been ensconed in.

Two men in need of blood fractions...

hypothetical situation.... you're the doctor in charge of the icu when two ambulances arrive (at the same time), each one with a patient requiring the same amount of "x blood fraction" for the same reasons (including high risk of death)... one of the patients is a well-known blood donor and the other is a jw who is willing to accept the "x blood fraction".... however, you barely have enough "x blood fraction" for one of the patients (not both)... who do you give it to?.

My children were never alone with him, thankfully, don't remember any of his family members, he was married while he was there had 2 children a boy and a girl who were young. My girls never went out in service with anyone other than me or the wife. i didn't trust anyone with them, and they didn't want to be with anyone except us.

zi knre Riock he was in the congregation we were in in Temecula, CA. Even went out with him his wife and children on several occasions. Was really pissed when i found out what kind of person he really was, and even more pissed to learn that the elders knew what he was or at least what he was highly suspected of being and yet they let him go out with others with younger children. Pay back time will come, to those in the know and who did nothing even if the payback is nothing ore than a good ass chewing and an invite to step the fuck outside.

I have a question regarding" free" magazines

since they no longer charge for mags at the doors do the publishers carry this cost ?i used to be a literature servant and you never gave away mags unless they were old and out of date to be left at doctors waiting rooms etc.

not at peoples homes ,otherwise householders would expect to get them for free.

in other words do the publishers pay for the mags and give them away for free?

as mentioned in an earlier post, we had a needs talk on not getting enough donatins for the mags, dvds, etc and were one and all encouraged to donate more to help make up the cost of "printing" this drivel. yeah they definitely want their money. as for the CAs and SAs and DCs they the WTBTS get a donation sent to them prior to the event even ending. then the crying that we are short i.e. $4,000 something and if you look it's pretty close to the amount that they donated to the scammers in Crooklyn.

They are bothering my sister

my youngest sister who has never been baptized and never shown an interest in the witnesses since her teen years was recently visited by a couple of elders.. they asked her what she thought about witnesses and how she viewed the congregation.

she basically told me that she told them she could care less what anyone believes or does but she refuses to believe that the gb are spirit directed or inspired and that the material she has been shown by my family is the same stuff since she was a child.

she did tell them that she sees the gb beating people and using lies more and more and referenced me who was df'd in absentia but then had it overturned.. they stayed for an hour and at the end asked her to tell me that i should still limit my contact with my mother since i am not attending meetings etc.. i thought it was strange until she told me the name of the elders, both on my jc and both still it seeems bitter!.

sounds to me like its time for a little one on one confrontation with the elders, they need to be put in their place and told to STFU and stay out of your life. I ran into one the other evening and he asked how I am doing (haven't been to a meeting in over 6 months) told him fine since i don't have to be around people that have no real love for their fellow members. That shut him up and he had nothing further to say, whatever they do won't have any impact on me. I know their stink, the fact that they dont have any real love for anyone as evidenced on how they treated us when tragedy had stricken our family.

the supreme court decided to grant review to further provisions of the arizona law that penalizes illegal aliens aka undocumented workers.

most of the law is prob/ invalid b/c congress has exclusive control over immigration law.

there are a host of lesser issues at play.

Kick the illegals out of this country. They don't belong here, kick them out of here. if they want to come and work here, then get a work permit, leave you children at home where they belong, they don't belong here, I for one don't want them here screwing up our hospitals and churches.

Probably the wrong one, but its been over six months since spouse died and haven't been able to converse with her. Feel so lost and lonely most all the time. Miss her greatly'
