  just had a brain fart and i don't think i'll actually try this, but see what you think.. .

  i made myself a promise that i was done serving on jcs roughly 2 years ago.

  and, with the exception of a rubber stamp reinstatement charade, i've kept that promise.

  palmtree, thanks :) maybe over dramatic. my life isnt that bad. I miss my mum, I think she is misguided because of trusting ppl like this. the elder that DFd me told my sister the other week he thought her breasts were lovely. ?!?!

  Im ok, but it really annoys me. I cant listen to hypocritcal people and I know its an open forum but to know that basically the elders that DFd me and my mum put her trust in could be trawling this forum making 'brain fart' jokes like this poster is just a cause for contempt. it is despicable. he is despicable.

  i have no idea what i want to convey in words here on this site, and have surprised myself by even joining at all.

  i intended just to read, and get a few pieces of information, and now am a member, and spend many hours looking through posts old and new alike.

  i am a current jw, born into it, and lets just say i'm in my thirties, female, and a mom of more than your average kids.

  poppers don't resort to insulting the grammar and spelling as opposed to the argument! thats the defense mechanism that they use.

  theres one argument in play here. if you are a righteous practicing witness, one of Jehovahs people, you would not be on this forum.

  if you are, you have gone against the rules of the JWs thereby undermining your credibility, argument lost, nothing they say can hold credibility.

  its like the opposite of being an apostate.. dont listen they are an apostate... dont listen they arent a real witness, real witnesses dont come on here.

  I hear what you say. I just feel in this case, if you dont believe, dont get the power, dont control others. all the time i was a witness who was disillusioned i never put my hand up or spoke on the ministry or took a lead and i made that clear. - I didnt feel in a positon. I think if you are on the edge as an elder and then say you have avoided JCs for 2 years, then thats a long time. step down, and just dont be in that position. its not the worst judgmement. they must like the position or they would have dropped it. I dont care who you are, I was a JW for 25 years. if you arent worthy of being an elder, yes its a stigma to step down but people still accept you. if you keep that position for 2 years whilst not believing it then you are just a hypocrite. I dont see it any other way. making light of judicial committees by calling it a brain fart is just pathetic. they need to grow a backbone and admit who they are. Pharisees.

  angry because people who are elders and 'representing jehovah' are coming on here to speak to shunned ones for advice and having a giggle about it all.

  if they dont believe it but are too scared to leave sink in a corner and stop putting your hand up. dont be on peoples judicials. thats just wrong.

  i was angry at another poster. an elder asking what he should do on a JC.

  it made me angry that people like my mum trust them implicitly and ignore me at their word, and here they are consorting with me and she doesnt.

  it makes me sick.

  doesnt work like that though, dissilusioned people put their fate in your hands. - one 'brother' at my old hall was due to give the memorial talk. he was having an affair. to me its horrendous that the people who 'judge' you arent necessarily believers. it always shocked me that vicars didnt always believe what they taught but they got paid. for me to discover that elders who boot you out and exercise control over loved and lost family members who feel they are doing right in shunning me, - and the very same are trawling forums like this - well it disgusts me. if i have offended you sorry. maybe you dont want to be on JCs. have a backbone and step down or do you love the power? - I understand those who dont want to lose loved ones, but those who sit in judgement, well clearly they get off listening to how sister weak had sex.. do you use it as a mastubatory aid when your frigid wife ignores you? grow a spine.

  to the less angryposters I apologise but this kind of crap makes me so upset. its this kind of shit that has ruined my life.

  i had the "privelege" of giving the masterbation talk years ago.

  when i looked at the talk slip and saw the theme, i thought at least they have an expert on the subject.

  the best thing about it was that the point i was to be counseled on was gestures.
