Did you hear Jw's swear?

i know that what counts as swearing differs alot from region to region, amongst the words i heard used were "crap, bloody, shit, git, bastard, bitch" and the dubs who used these words would say that they didn't belive they were swear words at all!.

I had/having an affair with Tiger

all of these women coming forward saying they had an affair with tiger, got my sub-conscience working, and i am pretty sure i had an affair with him too.

proof you ask???

To tell my parents or not to tell my parents...unfortunately that is a question

i could use some perspective on something i'm struggling with.

first off, a little background info.

i am an only child and my parents, in addition to quite difficult circumstances we've all experienced, both personally and as a family while i was growing up, remain devout.

when I was disfellowshipped my parents told me that there could only be contact in a 'family emergency'

what this means, is they constitute what is an emergency, retaining the right to shun you at their leisure, but of course if they need care when elderly, that would be an emergency.

I told my mum that since they no longer viewed me as part of the family, then there could be no family emergency that concerned me.

If I have a relationship, I wouldnt announce it. do you want to give them t he pleasure of refusing? - let them feel regret not you. - you have done nothing wrong. its them that will look back and wonder.

My 16 year old son is starting to see the light

on march this year (2009) i dad myself from the jws.

of course, it was nice to finally feel free, real free, after over 40 years of mind control.

i don't write much here but i feel this is worth sharing.. one measure i took before leaving was to take my then 15 year old son for a walk and explain to him that things would be different from the jws standpoint, but that i would always love him and that he could come to me at any time.. one thing that was very hard for me, is the fact that i separated from my wife, with which i was having problems for a long time already.

good for you and it is ridiculous. the elders say that because they know they will lose control of him. - can't go to a party with worldly family? Ive never heard anything like it.
