If God truly loved humans...why not reveal himself ? So that they could make an informed decision ?

fastforward to the era of christ ,again, god is only dealing with a small select group to advise and admonish.during the time from moses to christ he was only dealing with what became one small nation.the rest of humankind were left to their own devices.fastforward down to this 21st century we have no guidance/instruction/prophets to instruct or guide us.
( i know this is where jw`s would say but we have been preaching & teaching you god`s truths since 1879 ) all i can say their, is take your head out of the sand and look at all the changes ,corrections adjustments,re-adjustments,reversals,and failed expectations of prophecy you have published over this last century )so as to my question why hasn`t the god of the universe revealed himself to all humans of every race on all continents instead of just a small select group, if he truly was interested in the human race.

smiddy i dont think anyone can answer your well put question, as well meanning and sincere as they are who try to give us an answer. its no use saying the bible says this and the bible says that when as you state in china, inda, and pakistan they have little concept of the bible and christ. and like myself and others who just dont accept the so called truths of the scriptures and so called miracles (stories like robinhood, king arthur fables etc).
for instance today my son had a kick about with two of is pals manpreet and arminda, both sikhs they have as much knowledge of the bible and jesus as my son does of being a sikh. the point is they have no concept of jesus ,jehovah or the bible and they live in england were born here.
so why doesn't god just reveal himself and stop all these silly games, you've got to have faith, the scripture says that scripture says pooh! pooh!
once again no offence its just my opinion on this subject.

food shortages and money/ fuel running out.... i could start ranting here about the scandinavien countries who manage just fine with snow... but i'll let someone else do that.. i just heard that some people in north yorkshire got snowed in a pub for 8 days!...

its the worse snow ive seen ever, but compared to the usa, canada and russia its not so bad. but i live in the midlands, i know up north they have had as much as two or three feet of snow.
its great on christmas cards but the sooner it goes the better.

marcus scriptus thank you for a balanced response, you dont judge me and i dont judge you either, i can concur with many of your sentiments.
bless you a guest i admire your faith and conviction.
but what if you dont accept jesus or the bible, what if i were to belive in the koran, or was a sikh or hindhu etc.
i admire people of faith (some not all) i wish i could share it but it as to based on solid conviction (personally speaking)
not based on if buts, maybe this doctrine that doctrine, this date that date
goodluck to those who choose faith in god
and to those who like me, choose not accept the view that you have to show faith in such an unreasonable concept, as a god who plays games.

i am not interested in chelsea, manchester u., manchester city or arsenal.
all four remind me of teams i loathe in american sports (cowboys, yankees, celtics).

although i am a manchester united fan myself i can understand you not wanting to follow one of the big teams (man u being the biggest club in the world). i used to live in a little town called wolverhampton, they wear the famous black and gold and have for such a small town a massive local following, they are always struggling to stay in the prem, but a more traditional team with great fans you could not pick.

its just all to much for me i suppose the point i'm trying to convey is, why as it all got to be so complicated and difficult
as smiddy says just show yourself or let us know in no uncertain terms what we should be doing and we can make an informed choice.
that's just my opinion i don't do all the scriptures i left that behind when i walked away from the jw's, it just drives me up the wall.
for me it's all just personal opinion, theres no one who can say this is right thats wrong.
as a father of two children i just can't except that if there is a god he would act this way.

by warmasasunned inhey i left the j's almost twenty years ago, like you i had my reasons for joining and my reasons for leaving.. i've matured alot as you tend to do as you grow older, so maybe i've lost touch with alot of my idealistic thinking, insercurities and basic stupidity.. as much as i would love it, that there was an after life, where you can once again enjoy the love of lost love ones, its not the over whelming driving force of my life.. because of that i think i am a much happier person, i live for now, i basically belive, all options an evidence taken into account that this is it no god, no religion, no truth.. of course that is not a mantra set in stone i am not right and you are wrong, and my god it would be so great if this was all a big joke!.
but for me i get on with it, not looking for god, not looking for truth.
happy to just wait an see.. what about you?.
