Ugly Sisters
by XPeterX ino.k i have noticed that most female jws are ugly.and by ugly i mean ugly.they won't work out,they are fat and won't go on a diet (some female teens won't even shave their legs),they neglect their appearance/body in general.any opinions?.
.
p.s many will eventually get fat after marriage.

Would Doctor Who's Tardis (Time Machine) Cure Mankind of Christianity and other Religions?
by OnTheWayOut in....or of any beliefs that require faith in an unseen god or gods?.
if humans could go back and see the primordial soup struck by lightning (or whatever it was that actually started it) and could personally observe that there were primitive man-like creatures that spread across the world coming out of africa (or whatever really happened) and that there wasn't a garden of eden ever or a worldwide flood ever.... .....would that allow some of the most staunch believers to put aside their beliefs?.
if men could go back and look for jesus and see what he really was (or was not or even if he was at all) and others could do the same for abraham, buddha and confucious and mohammad and joseph smith and c.t.

A lot of the "medicinals" we use now were originally discovered by native people smoking the shrubbery and eating funny mushrooms.
Until the Gov put the kibosh on it, you could doctor yourself with any old plant you liked, and if you did yourself in, there was no HMO to sue.

Oh, I think religion as we define it will go the way of the Dodo bird, because all things do when they've worn out their welcome.
But, I think that people will always still look for transcendent experiences. Hell, we had Stone Age people smoking the shrubbery to commune with the great beyond a long time before Yahweh, Buddha or Christ....or the Egyptians and the Mayans.

we know it isn't the truth but we might not have officially resigned as jws.
many catholics are nominal catholics and they are not shunned or avoided because of their not going to church or confession.. would you remain a jw if the organization didn't punish you for your inactivity?.

he said he was at a funeral for a jw relative, and they had a registry for guests to sign.
his wife signed the registry, and included their home address.

My husband and I have gained almost the same amount of weight in 22 years of marriage. I'm a good cook...what can I say? I used to be a chef.
