  How are you faders doing?

  just wondering how all you slow faders are doing.i know this subject is discussed many times,but personally i wish it was more.we should post every once in a while just to say how we are doing,we need to encourage each other.as for me,it is still going very slow.right now i'm looking into the history that is being covered up.i have learned so much just by reading the older threads.it is very painful for me because this was the truth.and to be finding out so much crap that 99% of jw don't even know,it just is unbelievable.i have cut my field service down,and miss more meetings then i ever did.i'm hoping the sister that is in my face all the time,trying to help me,will forget about me soon......so how are you doing?.

  Thanks Pat.

  We stopped going a few months ago completely. It's kinda lonely right now and our parents are starting to turn on us. I have always been really close to my mother and it really hurts seeing our relationship slowly falling apart.

  On the other hand it' s so freeing to not have to sit and listen to the BS feed at the KH and look at people who have hurt you deeply, and it's awesome seeing my kids thriving and reaching out to new friends and just being normal kids. They actually get to play outside on Sat morning or just sleep in and watch TV in their PJ's if they want.

  Honestly, Do You Judge Someone Because Of Their Color Or Nationality?

  one of the first baby dolls i gave my granddaughter was a cute little black baby doll.

  she still has it in her car seat and if you try to take her doll from her she says, "my baby!!

  " typically little children are color blind.

  Of course I'm going to say no because I'm Hispanic married to a Black man and have family and friends of all races. However, when I think about it.. when watching any reality show like survivor, Amazing race ect. I always pull for the minorities before I even get to see their personality. Maybe I do judge Caucasians a bit. (sorry I don't mean to)

  By the way we have a black president when is abc going to finally give us a black bachelor??

  I was one of those that always smiled and said hello, or gave them that smiley face that they appreciated, when everyone else was acting like fools trying to avoid eye contact.

  Do you ever actually tell your family you're not coming back? What do I do?

  i've been "inactive"for four years now.

  i am quite proud of myself for making it this far since i moved out on my own at 22 for the first time.

  i've remained in school, try to live a balanced and productive life and still drive home to visit my parents at least once a month (they live 45 minutes outside of the city) luckily, my parents and i still remain close (as much as a baptized inactive child and still fanatic jw parents are able to be) and besides my mom's constant pestering about me attending meetings again and coming back to the troof, i haven't had to much stress from them or the elders.

  Stillawitness.... It's tough ..I know. My mom just sent me pictures of my baptism to remind me of ??? Not sure what, because when I looked at them I seen a young naive girl who had no idea what she was getting herself into.

  It's a tough place to be in because we love them and don't want to hurt them but when they do things like what you mother did to you and mine did to me it puts us in a sad place and it brings up so much hurt and if you like me, we take it.

  My thing is I don't want to hurt them, I know they are happy in the Org and I'm totally miserable in it, for many reasons.

  Like yourself, I'm in the same place. Do you let them know exactly what you think and risk being D'fed or do you continue to take what they throw at you?

  For me I'll take it for now.

  Hey beks,

  My kids like some with sugar and cinnamon and some plain and puffy so the can put their beans in them Of course they like them made fresh. So I have to make up the masa and roll them out like a huge tortilla put them up into shapes and deep fry them to just the right puffiness LOL..is that a word? Like I said it's a once in a while thing. Too much work!

  meaning... on this website, no longer a jw or at least no longer beliving anymore?

  i never did, even 18 months ago it would have seemed impossible, unthinkable.

  even though looking back the seeds of doubt had been sown for some time, i just never allowed myself to think about them... vvv dangerous thing to do!.

  Never in a million years! Was scared out of my mind when I was registering I think I backed out twice before I finally went for it. I'm so glad I did, so much here has helped me through some very dark days

  It was carnitas night with cilantro and onions and Green tomatoe sauce... Fresh beans and Spanish rice on the side. I even went out and made bunuelos for my son. Yes, not a healthy meal but it's only a few time a year

  i was thinking that i would like to post this in hope it will help anyone out there who might have the same problem.. after leaving the wts, one of the most difficult things i've had to get over was depression and anxiety.

  for many years before and after i left the wts i would fall into terrible depressions or experience terrible anxiety about.... whatever.

  you name it and i could become seriously anxious about it to the point of being paralyzed and unable to address the situation.
