  Is it my imagination or is there more Apostasy about?

  here in the uk over the last couple of years i hear more about people leaving/being removed due to apostasy?

  do you think this is true or is it because my radar is up and listening?.

  Why don't we start calling the active JW's the apostates instead of ourselves? I don't consider myself an "apostate" and I know what the definition is. But they are "apostates" from mankind! Just a thought.

  i am sort of digging the olympics.

  plus, i used to live in a state that really should be annexed by canada anyway, michigan.

  but i love hockey, autumn, maple syrup, and cold weather.

  Ridiculous Talk Given By CO

  my mother told me of the co giving a talk and telling everyone to get their hankies out because they would be sure to cry, which evidently some did.. a 5 year old boy was dying in the hospital and his parents were by his bedside.

  he was drifting in and out of consciousness and then he opened up his eyes and asked his mother if he was a catholic.

  the mom told her son he was not.

  record of committee meeting #1. after prayer, proverbs 28:13 was read: "he who is covering over his transgressions will not succeed, but he who is confessing and leaving them will be shown mercy.

  " the need to confess to jehovah was emphasized.

  as jehovah's representatives, the elders said we therefore needed to confess to them.

  It's sooooo heartbreaking. I'm so sorry for you. Unfortunately, if it's you or the org, she will choose the org. And you will decide along the way how much sacrifice of your own life you want to make to keep her. I wish I knew of more to say.

  i thought i'd heard it all after spending a life time in this organization.

  but for me the following statement uttered at the weekend circuit assembly takes the prize.. during the "pioneer talk"......the speaker said that pioneering enhanced jesus's spirituality.. to imagine that a made up thing like pioneering would enhance the spirituality of the christ.

  to those who still believe in christ ....this is so presumptious and proposterous........i just fell off my seat.. it tells me how this organization and its governing body have set themselves up so high .....that they could tell the christ how to live..
