Just found my fourth memorial invitation.
by FifthOfNovember init seems like i was really wanted at the memorial this year.. .
first invite: saw a jw in a gas station while i was eating some food with my friend.
he invited me to the memorial orally.. second invite: it was a saturday morning, i was in the shower when a jw came, mom answered the door and talked with him, he left a memorial tract and some magazines.. third invite: found a somewhat crumpled memorial tract with a few small tears on my porch.

Regular pioneer, interviewed as a regular pioneer couple at a CA. Husband ministerial servant and used ALOT to give public talks. I was typically used to give the talk when the CO visited. Yeah I was that good. He he.

a few of you, out there in cyberspace, share a similar experience - but many do not.. i'm going to tell you how to interpret things that happen in the organization, as well as what is written in the magazines.. it's not terribly difficult because they are so reactionary.
a fellow bethelite corrected me on this point when i accused them of being fascists.

my mum taught us very valuable lessons about Jehovah in her special way. Any other parents out there as psycho?
by God Chick inok before i start i know my mum was um "special" and had some, well...... bizzare training ideas.. .
i was one of 7 kids, dad didnt help much coz he was sick, so my mum was left to run the 'ship' and she did it with an iron fist.. .
we were never late for a meeting we sat, parents and 2 kids in one row the other 5 in row in front.

Their hatred towards women and their mysgonistic words they print. Their double standards. Their hypocrisy. I really hate Loesch. ALOT. I heard him speak at an assembly and this was before I had serious doubts and just a few minutes into listening to him I turned to my husband and said I want to leave. He sounded like a Nazi. I shudder to think of the control and power he has now. I hate how they say there are "conscious" matters yet in the same sentence say something like "Surely no true Christian would want to be part of ........." WTH! I think the disfellowshipping arrangement is so cruel.

Will women be suppressed in heaven too?
by unshackled insince a regular theme in the bible is to suppress women and place them below men, will they be treated the same way in heaven?
why or why not?.

Good question. I think the society views women in a subjugated position even in heaven. I simply think they cannot fathom the thought of any other type of woman...

Is it me or do the JW's act like the Circuit Overseer is Jesus himself?

now obviously many more will go out in fs than usual and such because the co brings more "insight" on fs than the usual brothers.

Yep and it was disgusting. I remember one day we had met for service when the CO was down and it was raining really, really bad. Well everyone at the hall just pretended like yes we always go out when it is raining like a monsoon outside. I looked at my husband and said this is ridiculous. It is raining and I am going home.

How I Know The Assembly Parts Are Made Up
by lovelylil inwe had a co looking for a certain experience for an assembly part coming up and the elders in my hall at the time sent him to see me, since i usually had good experiences out in field service.. anyway, after speaking with the co, i was sorry to inform him that i did not have an experience that suited the type he needed.
he told me that was o.k.
because he could use me anyway for another part.
