  hello i am new and this will probably be the last time i post.

  nice forum by the way but honestly and with all due respect it is not something i would like to be associated with.

  i joined saying "oh cool a jw forum" but after reading just 2 posts i realized it is the black veil all over again.

  My Brother Begged Me To Come Back To Jehovah & His Organization!!!

  i recieved a 7 page "note" from my brother and his wife pleading with me to come back to jehovah god and his organization.

  he said the devil was after me and my family and that the results will be disastrous unless i come back to "jehovah's protective custody".

  also, it was strongly implied that unless my family went back to meetings and went out in field service, most jws, including family members would not attend my daughter's wedding and reception.my wife, daughter and i have been overtaken by the devil, according to him.

  Sad to say, my brother believes he's doing right. The tone of his letter is to try to appeal to me. He sincerely feels I must be talked to so as to get some sense knocked into me

  I glad to see you have such a good outlook onit though. Like Mouthy told me "forgive them, they know not what they do". It is a sad sad thing that they view this as a form of love. Hang in there brother

  Growing up a Gay JW

  that for me was just about the hardest thing to deal with growing up.

  my mum was a witness, my dad never was.

  many times my mum would struggle to get my sister and me on a bus to get to the kh when we were little kids, despite suffering from nerves herself, without dads help.

  Ahhh Scoob...... You're one of my favorite little animals on this board. Thank you so much for sharing. I have the same feeling as the others that posted. I love reading these kind of posts, especially your's. It's great to understand what makes you you. It also helps me as a person to be more kind and tolerant towards others situations. I hope someone in a similar situation as yours will read your posts and gain strength from them YOu rock!!!

  Have others given up trying to communicate their feelings?

  i don't think i'll be listened to any more, my story is not worth telling, it is too complex, it causes me too much sadness to try to relate it, too much shame and too much internal pain.

  am i the only one that feels that they have given up trying to communicate their feelings here anymore?

  like my personality is a sham, i do my best to cope, to be happy, to be this cantankerous old sod that tries to make out to everyone i'm doing well, but ..... anyone?

  For me, I dont have very many bad feelings anymore to try and communicate. But last week I was having a bad day and a bunch of people really made me feel much better.

  I sure hope you would never want to give up on expressing your feeling here. After the recent UK translation thread, I understand you much better.

  God is Ray Charles, Jesus is Paul Stanley, and both being in the music industry would make them on in the same.
