at the end of the system, the calamity of the coming destruction will be enough to destroy most of the life on this planet.
The deepest form of this insanity is the actual belief that your God is going to shortly kill off about 4 billion people simply because they are not Jehovah's Witnesses.
If these people would only stop for a good five minutes and really think about the utter insanity of that belief, it would go a long way toward setting them straight.
something in the news, i think, about women clergy got me thinking that all religion, particularly in the past, has been based on man's superiority over women.
i, for one, wouldn't want to join any religion in which i was second class to penis less people.. i was after all made in god's image whereas women were not.. .
i can't help but think that religion has been a great force for perpetuating sexual discrimination.. .

elder has 2-3 years of regular pioneering and averages 80-140 hours per month.person has been an elder for 1-2 years.elder has completed at least one temporary bethel assignment, or temporary special pioneer assignment.elder has gone to pioneer service school.elder has gone to school for congregation elders.family has written the branch for an assignment in an area of greater need and is currently serving in one of those areas.gives the co a green handout to help out with his expenses on each visit.has the co over for a meal each visit.has phone number and email of co and communicates at least every other month - just to chat about how things are going, good service experiences, etc.

The only sub-COs I knew were long-time (20, 30, 40 year) elders. Of course, as in most areas of life, it's all about politics and "who you know."
Same here. My friend Marion Dunlap served as sub-CO for a month or so every winter for several years prior to the Ray Franz incidents. I never heard of anybody being asked who was under 50 and had not been an elder and servant for years. Of course, that was back in the 1970s.

last saturday night my older sister,24 years old,not a jw,went to a party.to make a long story short she almost got raped by a guy who found the chance to do so (he has been accused of rapes in the past too).then my sister called 3 of her neo-nazi friends after the party to attack him.so they took knives,clubs,and crowbars and went at his house.he managed to escape and didn't apologise for anything.now they are planning to kidnap him,drive him in a deserted place and beat him really bad and make him regret it.what should i do now after all this?i can't sleep at nights..

Many religions attempt to answer these questions without reference to the bible. Bible religions all end up with wildly different answers, all supposedly from the bible. They do not all even agree on what is in the bible. This is why I have become skeptical of human religions.
