  Revelation! It's grand climax at hand! Brand new book!

  well, it's brand new, because even though it is copyrighted 1988, this book which i picked up at a salvation army store today, has probably never been opened.

  it is brand new, even though it is 21 years old!

  is it worth anything?

  on what basis do you make the claim that the leadership of the jw's, aka governing body, is the organization god is and has been working through continuously since 1919?.

  Faith is the asssured expection of things hoped but not yet beheld (or something like that). Apparently the GB is here and can be seen - so why, as sheppard infers, does it come down to being a matter of faith?

  How did they know if someone was Circumcised?

  so as not to hijack the current "paul" thread, i'll comment here.

  paul spoke about circumcision numerous times and even circumcised timothy.. not to make light of the topic, but i have always wondered, how did anyone know if someone else was circumcised???

  i have been a jw my entire life and will honestly tell you that i don't know which brothers are circumcised and which are not.. i mean, did guys back then watch each other at the urinals or peek in the windows when someone was getting dressed?

  the mild-tempered ones are happy because they will inherit the earth.

  jesus, who was mild-tempered and lowly in heart, is the appointed heir of all things and is therefore the principal inheritor of the earth.

  The mild-tempered ones are happy because “they will inherit the earth.” Jesus, who was “mild-tempered and lowly in heart,” is the “appointed heir of all things” and is therefore the principal Inheritor of the earth. (Matt. 11:29; Heb. 1:2; Ps. 2:8) It was foretold that the Messianic “son of man” would have associate rulers in the heavenly Kingdom. (Dan. 7:13, 14, 21, 22, 27) As “joint heirs with Christ,” 144,000 mild-tempered anointed ones were to share in Jesus’ inheritance of the earth. (Rom. 8:16, 17; Rev. 14:1) Other mild-tempered ones will be blessed with everlasting life in the earthly realm of the Kingdom.—Ps. 37:11.

  i have been reading the various analysis of the oct 15 koolaid wt articles.

  these are indicating that ineffect we are friends of jesus by proxy, the fds are the real friends of jesus and becasue we are their friends, we know jesus.. it like a facebook account.

  i have friends on facebook who are friends with other people i don't personally, except by the comments they leave on the wall of my friends.

  I remember when I read that the "other sheep" didn't inherit the earth, but the annointed did.

  I can't remember anything being said to that effect. If they did I would love to the reference. BTW choosing I am not doubting you just my own memory.

  It like a Facebook account. I have friends on Facebook who are friends with other people I don't personally, except by the comments they leave on the wall of my friends. So even though I don't know these people I know a fair bit about them and they are part of my Facebook friends network, they are Facebook acquaintances.

  So according to the GB Jesus is the equivalent of theses face book acquaintances -whoopideedoo!!!!!

  casting aside what little you learned about god and christ- are you thrilled with the future of mankind?.

  The future of mankind as a species is irrelevant in the great big scheme of things. What are we?

  Well think of this. Our sun are a microdot in the Milky way Galaxy. The Milky Way is just one of billions of galaxies all which containg Billions of stars. Compared to our sun the planet earth is insignificant. So we as individuals inhabiting this planet are not even the equivalent of ants. How much interest do you show the ants in the back of your Garden? Would you sacrifice your son to save one of them? I wouldn't. If there is a god responsible for the creation of the Universe why should he care about the ants in his garden. If I spend too much time worrying about the future of Mankind, then I won't be living my life. So I am thrilled to be alive, and I will make the most of my life, as for the future - I can't control it, but I can do things to make sure the here and now is great for me and my kids.

  It's easy peasy lemon squeezy, but if you don't want to know the answer look away now!

  It does not matter which number you choose to start with, the answer willl always be a multiple of 9. All multples of 9 on the picture table have the same symbol. So when click for the answer that symbol will always show. Of course the sybol changes everytime you play the game to make it look spooky.
