The phrase "The Truth"
by lepermessiah inso, i am curious..... how many of you have a hard time getting that phrase out of your vocabulary?.
i have been conscienciously trying not to use it at all, so now when i am in a conversation with a jw, its amazing how often they use that phrase.
i look back and wonder "god, did i say that that often?

I like an unbiased opinion like the one above (even though you are right).

Hi Wobble, I tend to agree with the previous comments. Take it that your family are trying behave in a normal way, they are doing all they can under the rules of the cult that they follow. We were all there once, victims of stupidity. Treat them with graciousness, smile and ask them what they want for Xmas (maybe not that bit)!

This is one example of why elders or anyone else has no business judging another Christian. At the end, I HATED being an elder and feeling obligated to enforce these manmade rules! (You know that if a person violates the spirit of these rules, it would be "inappropriate" to allow them "privileges").
I concur entirely.

Do you shred paperwork before you throw it out?
by restrangled ini'm curious.
there is so much fuss and bother about identity theft.
personally, no banking or credit card stuff goes into the trash.

I know I should, but I am too lazy to get the shredder set up and run everything through it. All my paper goes straight to the recycling bin,

have you seen what appears to be 2 different groups of annointed?
perhaps one selected/predestined by jehovah and another not predestined by invited by jesus?
