i pointed out the evidence that the society is sneaking away from.

the blood issue to a 'loyal' relative.. she replied "well, that's good then, right?".

The GB is trying to figure out a way to make the blood issue go away, without anyone noticing, and of course, at the same time, all the JW's who knew about the old poicly will rejoice, saying that Jehovah has given spiritual food, and possibly spared our lives.. He has 'changed' his view on blood so his children no longer have to suffer..

I agree with Met... I hope that they get to this point, as then maybe JW's won't commit 'suicide' by not taking blood, but at the same time, I gag at the thought that the GB will be able to change such a 'basic doctrine' of the JW's and the R&F will happily go along with it rejoicing in the 'new spiritual light' that the rest of the world has known about for 50+ years!

But, in this one instance, since it does involve physical well being, I cannot wait until the day that they figure out how to do it, even if the R&F think nothing about the 'new light'!

no, that's not what i think, but it is what the watchtower teaches!

see page 27 of the july 15 issue, where it states: a christian sister may on occasion be accompanied on a bible study by an unbaptized male kingdom publisher.

if she wishes, she may ask him to conduct the study.

If she is conducting the study or is praying, the sister would need to cover her head

Ok, An unbaptized male cannot represent a baptized sister in prayer to Jehovah, however, Jehovah won't hear her prayers UNLESS she covers her head, because a male is present? Did I get that right, because if I did, I certainly have a few people I want to ask this question too..

you know how it goes, someone doesn't want to give offense or get "offside" with readers, colleagues etc so they try and agree with two conflicting arguments simultaneously.

the watchtower wouldn't do that, would it?

we have a bigg artikel in km abot our wuie on how to treat them in diffrent situations, not so much new things, but they confirm this harder treatment on dfd, as we have 1981.. not so happy for this, i think it is a bigg misstake to dont take this occasion to change to some more loving wuie.i can not follow why they do like this perhaps they are draw this to the end of the lione, but who are take the punnish for this, if not the averge jw, who i think dont like this so very much.. so i can not follow who they think, perhaps we have wolfs among us, who hurt ther members.. .

does jehovah, if he actually exists, views the gb/the elders and other religious leaders along with jesus as "mini-me"s, as in the "austin powers" characters?.

Yep, JW double talk.. Sounds like what you expect to hear, and to the unsuspecting person not versed in Theocratic Warfare Strategy (I.E. the other meaning for words/phrases/sentences) it sounds like they are a pretty nice group..

Technically not a lie, just 'we' aren't supposed to know who the unrepentant offenders are.. Logically you would think they would be the perpetrators of the crime, but NO, not in WTland.. They are the victims...

I play "Bill Clinton" when dealing with JW's myself.. I ask for a definition of everything!!!

Question everything they say folks.. Remember, they are the 'teachers' and love being asked questions

First, I'm not sure if you are aware of this or not, but this board encourages all people here, Current JW's, Ex-JW's, and like me, never a JW..

It sounds like you may not want to be around here with all the Ex-JW's (you refer to them as apostates). If you still want to socialize with us, we'd love to get to know you. But our conscience felt that you should know that you may be conversing with some people your organization has deemed as 'unsafe'.

That's a very interesting Psalm you are using, my friend.

Are you trying to tell me that something is upsetting you?

Feel free to send me a private email anytime if you need someone to talk to...

Or are you stating that the KJV is a little hard to read. I agree with you, it is difficult to read, I personally use the NIV.

Oh, and with the entire Psalm in context, with the surrounding verses, I was able to figure out what it meant (even the KJV) from the context.. Granted, very poorly worded, but none-the-less, easy to figure out when you put it in context.
