to jehovah's witnesses: i commend your zeal for god, your desire for accurate knowledge and truth of the bible, your goals of drawing close to jehovah, and following and obeying christ's teachings, and your time spent studying the bible.

I agree with all that too just that I can never get myself to agree that the scripture saying if you spoil the child means that you should beat on your kids.

And I do not beleive that turn the other cheeck means to stand there and let someone hit you either.

Any time you disagree with them it is like playing with a double edge sword. You get cut with either side you play with.

i posted this a before under an other topis, but i think it's a good question for a new topic!.

one of the things i never understout as a young kid was this:.

the question i had as a kid was: if god is almighty than he would of known that adam and eve and....satan... and demons....would sin before he even created anything.. my father who was an elder back then could never give me a good answer.... my dad would say something like because it's was necessary for god to show us and the angels, we can only have a good live if we live it like god wants .

I do believe that God give us free will and he does want us to love him. Jesus said love your God with your whole heart, your whole mind, and your whole soul. second to love your nieghbor as yourself, he also stated that is where the rest of the commandmets hang. Mathew 22, 37-40

Do I beleive man or even a Jw's should judge? no. only the creater has that right.

Do I beleive that God punishes people? no. God has made rules and he is a just God and follows his own rule. ( God is love 1 John 4;8 )

God did warn Adam and Eve that if they eat from that tree then they will positively die. Flat out he told them. Just as he tries to tell us now.

I can-t find the scripture right now, the one that says God does not test that he can not be tested so he doesn't test anyone.

Satin he challanged God as well as man, Satin told God that he coud turn all man against him. Satin told good skin in behalf of skin man will curse you to your very face. Don't worry so much my friend God would not allow us to be tested by satin if he did not think we could pass the test.

God could have destroyed Satin right then but what would that prove? That he is the most powerful or just a bully? he does not have to prove that he is the most powerful?

Why does he do it that way? I do not know I guess if he wants to he can, he was the one that created us and he should know what is best for us.and that we should trust God that he will do the right thing and everyting wil come out for the best in the end.

( Just supposing that we are made of clay and God is a potter) and the potter is at the potters wheel building something made of clay and the clay for some reason falls down. Would you not think the potter would or could lift the clay back up?

how can jw's confess belief in jesus christ when they do not believe in his own words when he speaks of heaven???

jesus compared heaven in many parables, yet the jw's claim that the "new earth" is where they are going.

also, the belief that jesus was here in 1914(?

I have been struggling with the witnesses all my life and I havent been studying gods word for some time. ( I am a little rusty but I will try to explain to you ) with limited time.

If Jesus came then were did he go?

Jesus has come and he is still here. How do I know this ? well you can not see Jesus he is in spirit form you can not see him with the human eye, The only way to know is thru the Holy Scriptures, I am thinking about when the disciples asked Jesus when they would know when he come back and Jesus told them that there would be signs and to be on the look for the signs, Nation will rise against Nation ( World War One 1914 ) also states that there would be many other signs such as food shortages, earth quakes, O-kay I think I found something on the subject Mathew 24, 1 thru 22

There is yet anothe Biblicle Prophecy telling the time when Jesus will come, I don't remember much about it right now, but it had to do with so many years, like thousands of years after the fall of Jeruselem or Bobylon or something like that, but coincedently bothe directions point to the same exact time and that is 1914

But where did he go? you might ask yourself that? there are still such terrible things in the world. The Bible also state that Jesus will rule amongst his enemies for a short time.

Yes Jesus has come back and the end is not yet,

i did not know what to do so i replaced my habbit with another one.. .

god and satan are equal in power and god owns heaven and satan owns earth.

god can't do anything about suffering, etc because they are equal in power.. c. we go to heaven after we die.. see?

I once met this guy that claimed he had these tablets that Thutmose or Tutoncomin or who ever had and that it was claimed that if you read the tablets 1000 times then you would have the power to reincarnate at will when ever you want where ever you want.

I think he read it till he went coo coo to la la land.

He said he found this guy that killed him in a previous life with a hatchet. so he stole the mans hatchet.

I mean I just would like to talk about it, I wouldn;t want to hurt your feelings or anything and if you do have the truth than talking about it will not change anything, will it?
