  Oh God, I Hate That Tune.

  last week, i was gurgling merrily at an episode of the simpsons.

  it was the one that is a parody of the "thelma and louise" film where marge and her chum are being pursued by homer and chief wiggum.. marge's chum is trying to impress her with her cool music, but when she turns on the car radio, it begins to play one of her less cool tunes, something that i have never heard before called "sunshine and lollipops".

  this repeated itself several times in different vehicles, whenever anyone turned on the radio, sunshine and lollipops came blaring out.

  I have spent two months without TV! AHHHH!

  when i moved to las vegas, two months ago, i decided to conduct and experiment.

  i decided not to bring my tv set with me.

  so for two months i have had no television.

  SHE LEFT ME!

  my wife, liza, came home from work this morning (she was doing the 3rd shift thing) and said she was leaving me.

  this afternoon at 1 pm i took her to the bus station.

  at 4:20 pm she was off to nyc.

  Yeru, I'm sorry to read this. I do recall in a past thread your mention of the fact that you loved your wife very much, but that there were difficulties and that keeping your marriage together was not easy. Take care guy. I hope things work out for you, in whatever way that will be best for all parties involved.

  i asked a pioneer sister why so many people accused jws of brainwashing.

  she happily responded, "well, they accuse us of brainwashing because that is what we do.

  Sunday program: WTS says It's all lies!

  reports are being circulated that congregation elders in new south wales have been instructed what to tell householders who raise questions about the recent "sunday" program report.

  they are to say that it's all lies.

  amazingly this contradicts the evidence from decided court cases as shown in the program.

  Xena, good post. As caligirl mentions, the guilt trip is laid out, the thought-process is mapped out, and the manipulation is accomplished all with a couple of scriptures and some leading questions.

  HONESTLY, Do You Consider Yourself A Nice Person?

  Maybe what we should all do is start a thread asking others here whether they think we are nice or not. I'd bet we'd get some good replies.
