Greetings....
by Girlie injust wanted to say hello to all here.
i really don't have much of a story to tell about myself.
just find myself at a crossroads of sorts and wondering if i should stay or move on, although the greater part is telling me to move on.. long story short, i have been a baptised jw for 14 years.

Good for you Spike. Like I said, never know where it will lead you. Wish you all the best.

Yes Spike. I am embarking on an "informed" research and strongly suggest you do the same. Never know where it will lead you.

I am a sinner and there is no denying that fact
by Girlie ini have struggled with this concept for quite some time.
i feel like the apostle paul in that he wishes to do right by god in controling this issue, but find it to be a law exercising complete control over him.
i find myself wondering what is the use in doing so?

Thanks again for the many insightful comments on here. As Parakeet made it clear in her comment, one needs to distinguish themselves from religious conditioning of guilt and see themselves for who they truly are: Human and naturally so.
Slowly, but surely, I will find that inner peace and contentment free of guilt feelings. Thanks for the encouragement.

Oh my..... I have been gone for a few days and look at where this post turned into. At any rate, thank you all for the greetings and I will be doing my own research so I can be more informed with my decision.

Don't You Hate It When A Witness Says "We Miss You At Meetings?"
by Wasanelder Once indon't you hate the hypocrisy when you run into a witness you haven't seen in over 5 years (even thought they live less than five miles away in the same town) and they say, "we miss you at the meetings?
" they can't call or stop bye to say hello, but they miss me at the meetings.
what crap.

I once snapped out at a sister when she said that to me. I said if you really missed me so much, why couldn't you pick up a phone or come to my home to show that.

Thanks Snowbird. I am very honored at being your new-found friend. I need all the friends I can get. It was your vacation post that has inspired me to write this one. I find myself becoming angered towards God and life in general due to this view.

LOL! I don't know. I think I need to be in a world all of my own with my various sins.
