a few financial figures that happen to have fallen into my sweaty palms.
while only a small piece of the wt's financial jigsaw puzzle, they effectively illustrate the level of $ under the society's control.
watchtower bible and tract society of pennsylvania.
I just clicked, dragged and copied .... Then all I had to do was take the left margin in 20 spaces.

i was wondering if anyone knew how the jehovah's witnesses stand as far as there numbers go in regards to other *newer* religions such as the mormons, the moonies, the adventists, scientologists, etc?.
i was wondering because this is a point that jw's will use when pointing that they are gods people.
(the fact that their numbers have climbed so quickly in a relatively short period of time, so they must have god's direction, blessing) of course i think this is hooey!
Correction: Mormons are 22 million. JW's 6 million
The mormons baptise their children at 8 years of age and count all them and they also count everyone
who has ever been baptised. You don't get of their records until you die.
The Jw's only count those handing reports ..... but if you count all those who have been baptised
you will get the same figure

this is brief because family members have asked that i remain low-key for the present when on public forums regarding this specific case.
i have provided greater details in a private forum.. many of you may recall my justice series on h20 where i dealt with the issue of pedophiles among jws, often drawn from my experience as an elder.
while serving as an elder i did object to the failure of elders to report pedophiles to the authorities.
Amazing, my heart is with you all. I truly do know how you feel right now. Have been there - Done that. The rage inside is incredible ..... so channel it carefully!
What can I say .... nothing will make it better ...... just remember there are people out here
who really care and feel for you all.

i'm starting a new diet today and would like to find some diet pals here.
we could share tips, stories, wins, losses, trade suggestions, and just do the sort of thing a weight watcher's might do.
i did go to ww for a while, but now have my two little grandsons staying with me and can't get to a ww meeting.. hopin' to hear from you!.
Any favorite tips or recipes?
Always cut all fat of any meat .... spend the extra $$ to get really lean hamburger mince and if you
cannot get it lean then get some of the cheaper beef and grind your own .... you can use a food
processor if you don't have a mincing attachment.
I make big pots of Vegetable soup and use stock powder or make my own stock for the base.
You can freeze the soup in meal size portions using those take-away containers. You can change the flavour of the soup byadding spices. I also make large quantities of things like ratatoui? which is eggfruit, capsicum (bell peppers), Zuccini (courgettes), onions, Tomatoes, and garlic to tasted (I love lots) and I also throw in some chopped dill which
gives it a lovely flavour. Again, freeze them in meal size portions.
I also make up lots of stir fry .... I can use a little bit of meat and lots of veges and eat until it
is coming out of my ears .... I just cannot have the rice or noodles. Of course, I use no oils when
I do this, except a little spray oil for the meat.
You can make curries using your own blend of spices so you can leave out the chilli if you want to or
only use a little bit. I love experimenting with these .....
The other day I made a beef curry, using beef and onions and the spices ..... it was beautiful and I
had 2 meals out of it ... I kept it watery so it was like a curried soup.
I keep sliced lean ham or beef in the fridge and I have 100 grams of that with a salad for lunch or
dinner ..... you can have a piece of grilled chicken breast (no fat) or a piece of fish (the ones that
have the Omega Oils in them). We have to make sure we get our essential fatty acids.
Sometimes for breakfast or lunch I will have a 2-3 egg omelette (depends on egg size). I sprinkle a little
parmesen or romano cheese on it for flavour and have it with tomato, onion, capsicum, lettuce etc.
I keep lots of small apples on hand and if I feel a little peckish I will have one of them ..... and
I have lots of watermelon!!!!! Actually, Watermelon and Strawberries we can have unlimited!
How's that for starters?

I keep thinking about joining a gym!
Right Me too ......
Start the diet and work out at home with cans of soup etc ......
My doctor said that if I could do 5 minutes a day in either pushing a couple of cans around
or doing push ups against the wall, along with the 20-30 times I go up and down the stairs already
that I would slowly but surely see the difference.
He was right ..... and it doesn't cost me gym fees

I've tried those kind before, but have had digestion problems so I could refine it a bit to allow for that.
If you have tummy problems, you could get what my doctor offered me if it cause me problems.
He gives his patients the same stuff they give for gastric reflux like Tagamet. Maybe there is
a way around the problems too ....

I have been on a diet the last 6 weeks and have lost 40 lbs. The diet I am on was given me by a Doctor who specializes in people who have problems losing weight.
I am not allowed any starch foods for 5 days of the week and on the other two days I can have a sandwich, cereal for breakfast and a potato or sometihng like that. On those two days I must make sure my fat intake is less than 35 grams.
On the other five days I can have a protien shake three times a day, or the equivalent amount of lean protien, chicken, beef, lamb etc. I must have 160 grams of protien a day. I can have unlimited vegetables and salads ..... I can have 5 pieces of fruit a day. I can also have snacks of low-cal soups, a few japanese rice crackers, no limit on low calorie jello, a tub of diet yoghurt a day.
I must also have a minimum of 2 litres or a gallon of water a day.
I am never hungry! It is too much to eat .....
I have home made vege soups, curried veges (make my own curry flavouring) stirfries made without oil, .... there is no limit what one can do with veges .....
As long as I have almost no fats and no starches five days a week I am fine.
It is a little like the Protien Power Diet, but without the fats .....

common psychological problems of mind manipulation:.
the following problems and emotions are common with survivors.
these are all normal emotions and will pass as you recover.. keeping a journal and sorting one's overwhelming feelings is most healing and helps work through feelings of betrayal and abuse.
Trevor, thanks for your comments ....
I do wonder if people read and make no comment ..... I do know some have done this because they
have mentioned it ....
I just hope to help those that may need the info ....
