  please help important to helping my father break free........

  dear members about a month ago i read about an article in the watchtower november i think ....... it was titled something along the lines of "how to be a friend to jesus" the answering paragraph explained something along these lines ~ " to be a friend to jesus remain faithful to the organisation obey the faithful and descrete slave ..... and then something about the elders on more of a personal level".

  could someone please post the "how to be a friend to jesus" article and confirm which watchtower it is in ?.

  or if possible direct me to that particular post ........ this would be greatly apprieciated .

  I've been thinking!? What happens after Armageddon?

  given the fact that the majority of jw are lets say less educated than the general population.

  whose going to run the hospitals power plants waterworks you know general infrastructure in every country there are jws after armageddon or is jehovah simply going to get the angels to do the grunt work?

  trade fruit for vegetables ~ this you did not know ? oh and kick about with lions and lambs all whilst wearing smart casual clothing ~ who said anything about jesus ? is the materielistic gains were interested in isnt it ~ oh yeah by the way if you jump off a cliff you wont be halmed ~ also suffer from face cramps from constant god given smiles all round ~ also if armagedon have had happened in the 60's only white people would have been able to jump of cliff's trade vegetables smile all the time in a world of materialistic eutopia ~ THERE ARE NO TOILETS IN THE NEWORLD EITHER ~

  in my youth i never once found that this long running seris of articles by the borg ever addressed what i really wanted to know, nor did they really offer any answers to the questions they posed themselves in the articles.

  it was normaly " should i do this thing that is fun and normal?

  " answer "no, you should go on the ministry more and tell the elders about your youthfull desires so that they can punish you ( lovingly(!)".

  dear young people ask :

  why do i feel excited when the song is coming up so i can go to the toilet ?

  what is this dark cloud of doom that lays above me im too young it and not sure how to label it ?

  why is it when im at primary school i only see living dead people ?

  why when i insisited i wanted to be a zoologist i was encouraged instead to focus on getting a licence to drive bulldozers for the "great job of body disposal" needed after armagedon ?

  why am i encouraged to feel good that people that dont accept the magazines at the door are going to die ?

  why does the clothing and depiction of a worldy person in your magazines make me feel embarrased ?

  oh hello wantstoleave ~ yes i was born in 78 when i think of it now it almost seems like a dream ~ oh my god went through the motions the whole peace and security thing, witnessing hoping that school friends would not answer the door, the generation thing ~ four meetings a week ~ i think often about the youth of my day which offcourse consisted of only JW's ~ i think each one of us had our own way of dealing with the over exposure of what was to come (armagedon) ~ i would love to see some of them now ~ i think we all share something very common that is hard for me to put into words ~ i wonder if at all it would be possible to get a list of the brothers and sisters from my era from somewhere so i could possibly look them up on facebook ~ i'd love to share with you wantstoleave

  im originally from victoria cranbourne congregation remember melton much.... ....although one time at an open park of some kind with speakers out and about ....i distincly remember that day because it was raining in the morning on the way there ... oh god i remember hoping the rain kept coming... and it did ! ..... i think it rained the whole 3 days.....

  NO ONE KNOWS THE PLEASURE OF A CANCELLED ASSEMBLY LIKE JW YOUTH (let alone a jw childhood and thats why i love this site)

  ~ moved to west oz in 93 faded from there on ..... i am convinced that only a jw youth could ever fully understand another ...... im from the "generations" era ....
