Yes, it does. Ironically, though, it wouldn't be necessary if it weren't for violence. Violence begets violence.

repentance is often not enough...
by oompa inyou may know i was recently dfd...i am a 4th gen...my two sons of course were 5th gen. the oldest a rebel from birth so of course dfd at 17 and he is now 24. my younger son now 22 has been the golden boy for the dubs.
pioneered out of hs for 4 years...was a miniserve all that time...and then the holy grail...a year at bethel...i mean the perfect dub!.
well shocker of shocks...he was dfd three weeks ago!!!

My first reaction is to burn more and kill anyone who reacts violently (but ignore peaceful protest). I'm sure they would run out of fanatics eventually. And yes, I know that's terrible and would make it worse... But THESE PEOPLE!!!

If I thought it would do any good, I wouldn't mind bloodshed over the stupidity of the Islamic extremists, including my own. Their holy book should be no more protected than The Cat in the Hat. They really just need to get over themselves. If only that were possible.

Of course, the war goes both ways... The bashing on Christians thread currently going on, for example, is a response to a bashing on Atheists thread. Personally, I have issues with Christians (as a group... I don't extend it to individuals unless I have reason) because I live in the Bible Belt. People constantly thrusting their religion down your throat, especially legislatively, just gets old.
I do wonder at some of the vehemence on here sometimes, though.
