You're all spoiled. Me and my gal have been sleeping together on a Twin for over a year. Not even a Twin XL... No... A Twin. My feet hang over the edge if I stretch out. And OH GOD the pain in the mornings.
EDIT: I've been corrected. We had a Twin XL and then later had to get a normal Twin... Maybe one day we'll finally get a Full.

i wish i could be more 'brave' and show some current little jws the way to this forum, but i am afraid of getting them in trouble :p we all know how sites like this are to them.. with that covered, first, a few things about me:.
Eh... There are a couple of us around. I'm only 23 and I think there's someone else 21 around here.
Oh, and homemade food is MUCH cheaper... Otherwise I would be having McDonalds right now.

EDIT: Sorry to hear about your rough time. Like they've already said before me, a lot of us have similar stories. You're not alone. Keep your head up and everything will be fine. Oh, and I know what you mean by being a little young... I feel SOOOO young sometimes on here.

but... i have what i believe are a couple/few valid questions, so i must ask that you indulge me, if you can.
I would like to add that even though humans are still evolving, as is logically necessary if you accept evolution, even of the animals, it is doubtful at this point that we would speciate(?), because that would require reproductive isolation. Had technology not progressed to where it is today, it would be likely that the Native Americans, Africans, and tribal peoples of Australia would have developed into different species separate from what we will eventually evolve into.
Its also possible that the human race may stagnate as far as evolution is concerned, or evolve randomly. Natural selection is not nearly as large of a factor as it used to be... We try as a species to limit it as much as possible because of fear of death. I sometimes wish I had a time machine so that I could go into the future and find out what we become.

Thank you for grouping me in the "sick and twisted category"... Though you're probably right about both me and him. While his defense of the priests who sexually assaulted youths is despicable, he is technically accurate. In fact, he described the actions of the priests as "inexcusable"."Child rape" just sounds better than "sexual assault", and the news probably DID play it up just to make it worse... which only increases the damage that it does to the victims.
I'd like to see what he ACTUALLY wrote. This news article seems incredibly biased and I have a feeling there was some quote mining going on. The only paragraph they actually quoted was not nearly as bad as the rest of the article makes him sound.
tl;dr: I wouldn't judge the man based on this article. I want to see what he ACTUALLY wrote.

I agree with Anne... but that may be because dry begging is reponsible for me having been able to eat the last couple of months. LoL. I think there's a line somewhere between dry begging and manipulating, though they use some of the same techniques. It might be, for example, that manipulating someone is getting them to do something that they don't want to do, while dry begging can refer to letting someone be aware of your situation and asking for help in a way that doesn't come off as presumptious... Though like I said, I'm a little biased because I've been very active at that lately.

The experiment is not replicatable. No paper has been published showing how and why it works, and there is no real reason for him to NOT do so. It would make him and all of his colleages INCREDIBLY rich with patents and the inevitable Nobel prize, which would guarantee at least half a million dollars. The fact that he hasn't published suggests fraud.

I'm an atheist, so I don't believe in him or the big G. On the other hand, while I was in transition I thought that Satan was better than the alternative, and toyed with Theistic Satanism for a bit.
