I play a lot of Pokémon, with probably a couple of thousand hours worth of legendary Pokémon (including all the event legendaries) on my Black that got stolen. Also Zelda, Fallout, and any RPGs I can get my hand on. Right now I'm in the middle of a replay of The Minish Cap since I got it from the 3DS Ambassador program. I mainly use my PS3 for Fallout: New Vegas and as a Blueray player (lately, anyway).

Evil Spirits
by LizLA indoes anyone on this forum have knowledge about casting out demons or evil spirits?
there's at least two of them that have been harrasing me even before i was a jw.
i recently attended a deliverance church to find some help but it was apparent that the holy spirit was missing from that church.

Welcome to the forum. I'm an atheist myself, but this seems interesting enough that I asked my fiancee to weigh in.
Her method of choice:
Make a mixture of as much as you can find of: Basil, Bay leaves, Caraway, Cinammon, Clover, Garlic, Fennel, Lavender, Marjoram, Parsely, Peppermint, Rosemary, Sage, and Turmeric. Put it "somewhere", such as in a satchel or on a plate, and pray for protection from God. Divide the pile of herbs in half. Take two square pieces of yellow fabric roughly the size/shape of crackers, and begin sewing them together to make a small bag. With each stitch, focus on the spirits that are giving you trouble and how to get rid of them. When 3 of the 4 sides are sewn together, stuff cotton and half of the herb blend into the pouch you've made and sew up the final bit the same way. Take the second half of the herbs outside (or just wherever you have access to the outside, like a window) and throw it into the wind while wishing them away and saying something to the effect of "may they never bother me again". Then take the yellow pouch you created with you wherever you go for protection.

Obligatory "Pity Me" Thread
by TheClarinetist insince my thread asking for advice exploded into a conversation about whether or not it is legal to give advice about legal matters, i figured i'd repost my craziness here and update.. my lovely girlfriend accidentally blew up the kitchen while sauteeing chicken in hot oil.
by blew up, i mean she accidentally set the stove and wall on fire.
it was pretty crazy, we had three fire trucks and an ambulance there.

@Charlie Brown Jr. : Yep... I don't know how you can see it.
Hijacking my own thread because I feel the need to vent and don't want to make a fuss in another thread (I do that way too much):
Now the landlord is bitching at us about not getting everything cleaned for an inspection yesterday. We've been moving into the downstairs and attempting to move out the last of our roommate's stuff. It's been very time consuming, and out of the 10 days we had between given to clean, we've spent several in my fiancee's home town because first her cat (and best friend since she was 6) died, and then her grandfather got double pneumonia and is currently in the process of dying. Meanwhile, we've been given till Tuesday to get the place spotless because the owner is coming to see the place (owner is the landlord's son), and they "don't care that it's christmas". My fiancee is going crazy and can barely function from all the stuff that's been going on, and I'm not very far behind her. Oh, and the utilities are getting shut off on the 5th and we won't be able to pay for rent unless we somehow convince her grieving grandmother to give us around $2k. FML

LoL. No, it's a video game that's hot this year.
But seriously... my fiancee suggests a cooking class to make like chocolates or candies or something like that. They have them at Central Market if you're in Texas. You could always do something romantic, maybe tickets to go see a musical or something like that?
You're right, though, most women are terribly hard to buy for.

Could we be violating the rights of JEHOVAH'S WITNESSES?
by Terry inhttp://www.cesnur.org/2005/pa_brown.htm.

jehovah's witnesses and the anti-cult movement: a human rights perspectivejohn b. brown, ii (social educator, tucson, arizona)human rights issues and religious freedomthe issues created by anticult fervor can be recapitulated in the following points.

It's definitely violating the rights of witnesses to kidnap and "deprogram" them, but there is nothing wrong with telling people they're stupid. It's part of freedom of speech and religion as well.
On another similar note, the recruitment methods of cults deprive members of their freedom of religion by purposefully misleading them about what type of group they are joining up with. I'm not sure, however, if the JWs are bad enough about that that that statement is true of them. [That that that? ]

U.S. "Finally" Eradicated in the U.S.? Maybe Not So Much...
by AGuest inhttp://usnews.msnbc.msn.com/_news/2011/12/14/9441008-landlord-fights-white-only-pool-sign-ruling.
i mean, the sign could have said "no lotions, oils, chemicals, etc.".
not trying to inflame, but to "educate" the ignorant (i.e., those who say there is no racism "anymore"... that folks should "get over it"... or that it shouldn't be mentioned).

I'm confused... why would the U.S. eradicate the U.S.?

The US Will Become a Police State (not a joke)
by metatron inhttp://www.aclu.org/blog/national-security/behind-closed-doors-congress-trying-force-indefinite-detention-bill-americans.
this is not some made up, exaggerated joke.
the bill of rights may be effectively canceled in the next few months.. metatron.

I did read the bill, and I do find it scary. Even bad americans have the right to a trial by jury. It's the foundation of the US justice system. Also, that is only the Senate Bil. The House Bill doesn't include the wording, and the compromise bill probably won't because Obama has threatened to veto it.
