Why would a supremely powerful and wise being regard faith as a virtue?
by Island Man inif i were the all-powerful creator of all the universe it would be a very easy thing to prove my existence, requirements and will in an indisputable and unambiguous way.
everyone would know of my existence and requirements without them having to put forth effort to believe based on limited, ambiguous evidence that is highly subject to interpretation.
i would regard faith as a harmful trait that makes one vulnerable to being deceived.

The GT and the big A are worthy topics IMHO.
What I am sure about is that the apostate Watchtower organisation and hierarchy are totally blind to the spiritual dimensions involved.
They are waiting for a singular physical event at a point in the future.
It is quite likely not singular, not an event, not physical, and not in the future.
Could the big A be the longstanding spiritual battle between religion and its nemesis the "unabridged gospel" (or full "Good News")?
At any rate the Watchtower's poisonous fruits (stealing the faith and spirituality of millions, by severely truncating the gospel) prove it is on the side of the "god of religion", and not the "God of Abraham".

1 Peter 1:11 - Christ's Spirit or Jehovah's Spirit
by Westenddave inmy question is about 1 peter 1:11. the 1984 nwt omits the word "christ", beside spirit, although it occurs in the earliest manuscripts: .
11?they kept on investigating what particular season or what sort of [season] the spirit (the reference says: 2 sam 23:2 ) in them was indicating concerning christ (footnote says the spirit of christ which was in them indicated)... .
beside the word spirit, the reference quotes 2 sam 23:2, which says "the spirit of jehovah".

Just ask any Watchtower follower to explain what the "Good News" is.
Salvation is missing.
