  If I asked for a loan from the WBTS would they give it to me?

  if this were the "organization" that jesus chose in 1914.. err 1919, wouldn't the principles that he laid out while on earth apply to this organization as well?.

  matthew 5:42 "give to the one who begs from you, and do not refuse the one who would borrow from you.".

  so if jw's all asked for loans from the org, every now and then, it would be the orgs responsibility to grant those loans (interest free).

  Local JW Booth - Are You STRESSED?

  so, yesterday i approached the local jw booth that is a few blocks from my house.

  they are set up on the sidewalk, at the edge of a downtown park.

  the display was merely rows of a magazine, with the headline *are you stressed?*.

  What if the Watchtower IS part of The New World Order but not the one JWs think they are?

  for those who believe there is something to the agenda of the new world order, what do you think about jehovahs witnesses being part of this?.

  Indeed.

  One (earth) world government by man.

  Versus...

  One multiverse government by God.

  Big difference.

  Not that Watchtower followers can tell though.

  Nor read.

  I'm sure you are proud of Jim's principled stand against the apostate religious hierarchy, their corruption and their abuses.

  (Ezekiel 9:4) . . .“Pass through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and you must put a mark on the foreheads of the men that are sighing and groaning over all the detestable things that are being done in the midst of it.”

  May you and your family be strengthened and blessed until you are all once again reunited with Jim in the "everlasting dwelling places" spoken of in Luke 16:9.

  Why has the watchtower never written a commentary on the Greek scriptures?

  they have writes hundreds of other repetitive books, but no bible commentary.

  is it because an actually commentary would destroy their doctrine and prevent them from being able to cherry pick scriptures?.

  How did you find the truth about the truth (TTATT)

  i am sure there has been a post about this subject, however being a recent addition to the network i don't know how to do a search.

  and i'm sure new folks have joined since then.

  i am really curious of how others came to know ttatt.. for me is was a real bad experience with one elder after another.

  Do you think the age has passed when there can be no new religions?

  i think we are already living in the age where there can be no new religions.

  we have access to information like never before and anyone claiming revelations of something new and starting a whole new religion can easily be discredited.. christianity and islam may continue to subdivide but i think we've pretty much seen the end of anything new in terms of a new belief system.. .

  what are your thoughts on this?.

  they key to free yourself from the organization is having mental clarity of what is happening in relation to the watchtower, inside and out.

  their basic concept is that they are god's sole organization on earth.

  there really is no basis for anyone to make that statement.

  For our family the key was the liberating gospel (or Good News) according to Paul (and others).

  Isaiah 61:1:

  "The spirit of the Sovereign Lord Jehovah is upon me [Jesus], for the reason that Jehovah has anointed me [Jesus] to tell [the] good news to the meek ones [sheep or wheat]. He has sent me [Jesus] to bind up the brokenhearted [spiritually deprived and unregenerated], to proclaim [spiritual] liberty to those taken [spiritually] captive [by religion/ists] and the wide opening [of the spiritual eyes] even to the [spiritual] prisoners [of religion/ists]".

  Seeing the Pharisees ("elders") deep contempt, hatred and fear of the unabridged gospel of grace was the final clincher.
