    The Watchtower (and old-timers in the org) love to quote old testament passages that were directed toward Israel. However, the New Testament is "a better covenant based upon better promises".

    In the following verses, salvation is not described as a possibility, but as a certainty, as a present possession for the original Christians:

    Justification is a present possession (Rom. 5:9).

    Peace with God is a present possession (Rom. 5:1).

    Reconciliation is a present possession (Rom. 5:10).

    Atonement is a present possession (Rom. 5:11)

    Eternal life is a present possession (1 Jn. 5:11- 13).

    Being a child of God is a present possession (Eph. 1:6).

    Being accepted in Christ is a present possession (Eph. 1:6).

    Forgiveness of sin is a present possession (Eph. 1:7).

    Being made alive in Christ is a present possession (Eph. 2:1).

    Being made fit for heaven is a present possession (Col. 1:12).

    Being delivered from the power of darkness is a present possession (Col. 1:13).

    Having been translated into Jesus’ kingdom is a present possession (Col. 1:13).

    Mercy is a present possession (1 Pet. 2:10).

    Healing of sin is a present possession (1 Pet. 2:24).

    A person is either saved or he is lost, either entirely saved or entirely lost. There is no middle ground, no growing into or perfecting of salvation. Are you trusting the blood of Christ, and the blood of Christ ALONE for salvation? If so, the Bible says you possess all the spiritual blessings listed above, plus much more!

    Why isn't the Watchtower proclaiming this Good News?

    Why would anyone want to do that? It's 2014! That would be 2,014 years of complete silence, while your lame god does nothing. He can't even be bothered to send a postcard. Where is this promised return of his anyways? I guess he must have went AWOL, because that ransom check to himself obviously didn't clear.

    Apparently god is too tired to provide those Sudanese and ethiopian Christians a bowl of rice and let's there children die of malnutrition daily... but he makes sure you guys have jobs and speak intongues. Tell bible god to go sick a duck

    Perry, I'm sure that everyone trying to find Jebus/Joke'hova et-all is just like that guy in your pic; on an endless fools errand, wasting their lives away. Meanwhile, people who decided to not believe in bronze aged fantasies have managed to split the atom, cure many diseases, and double our lifespan etc. Why is it that your god can't seem to help our species one iota; furthermore, why is he/it on record in that crappy book called the bible for reflecting the backward thinking of first century palastine?

    The wages of sin is death. God spoke it , it is law.... period. Sounds pretty final doesn't it? It is not. God gave his highest posession so that the death penalty could be deferred.

    My point is that the Bible presents this as a gift.... not something to work for as the WT teaches.

    This is the Good News as you have presented it Terry, thank you.

    The reason the Watchtower is not proclaiming it, is because they are an Anti-Christ

    organization, the Man of Lawlessness, standing in the Holy Place claiming to

    be the Mediator, the sole channel of communication betwen man and God

    and therefore identify themselves as the Disgusting Thing, the False Prophet.

    They demoted Jesus Christ to an Angel and deny anyone access to him directly

    and forbid their followers to drink the wine and eat the bread and be part of

    the Body of Christ. This is their whole mission. To elevate themselves and separate

    believers from Christ and freedom in Christ and oneness with each other and God.

    The Watchtower doesn't want to give this message because it is hungry for slaves to do it's work in recruiting members and feeding it money.
