ive never heard of this book before, does anyone know anything about it?
Yes, "Enemies" was published in 1937.
A companion book is "Religion" and was published in 1940.
These books reveal that Rutherford taught that ALL religion is a snare and a racket.
It seems the terms "false religion" and "true religion" cannot be found in these books.
The term "all religion" is found several times.

i have lots and lots of watchtower literature... and i don't know what could be useful in the future to have as a reference or as a keeper.
i am definitely keeping the 1993 and 1994 bound volumes of the awake!
(no, we are not false prophets... down in the same page, the generation of 1914 will not pass... also the youths who put god the watchtower first).

for those who still believe in god, if local congregations could break away from the watchtower would you consider becoming a witness again.
this would mean no more governing body, circuit overseers, watchtower magazines, and each congregation could have its own "new light".
most of us left because of the control (no college, disfellowsipping) but if the watchtower was out of the picture, all of this would disappear.
Since their congregations, traditions and doctrines are all manmade, no.
.. the new wbt$ donation arrangement/ jw kingdom hall bank account theft... is a very hot topic right now... the wbt$ is literally going to clean out kingdom hall bank accounts,filled with donations from jws... that theft is going to happen world wide..the wbt$ is going to steal from 7 million plus jw`s... .. we have jw elders here on jwn,that know whats going on... they "serve" in kingdom halls,they are "supposed" to be looking after the welfare of the average jw... they know there is a 4 page letter,only one page will be read to the congregation..the rest will be kept secret... they know the wbt$ is about to steal jw donations..on a world wide scale!!!...

are you going to let "your" congregation know about the other 3 secret pages?...

As you say, beyond our wildest dreams...
so it's' been 8 months since i was disfellowshiped.
i moved out of my mothers house accross the country to room with a friend.
things have been going ok, it's just strange to be so far away from everything that felt familiar, even the meetings.

In my experience part of the stage you are going through sounds like "identity crisis".
It is perfectly natural given where we have come from (a deceptive and high control environment).
What about finding a good Psychologist who will not pressure you into taking psychoactive, synthetic, addictive and iatrogenic medicine?
Once you clarify who you are and what you believe, some big hurdles to happiness will have melted away.
If you choose a Spiritual But Not Religious path, I would highly recommend the unabridged gospel according to Paul (especially in Romans and Galatians) as summarised in the 5 solas (of the reformation).

i am very excited and hungry for the truth and have not missed a meeting or study since the memorial.
we do about 2 bible studies a week.

Nothing feeds and nourishes our faith and spirituality like "the truth of the Good News".
It can be found in the Watchtower library but not in the hearts nor on the lips of the followers of the Watchtower.
This is not an accident.
Religion is designed to carefully keep us from the full Good News, especially according to Paul (particularly as described in Romans and Galatians).
I would recommend that you research the 5 solas (of the reformation) and summarise them in a single sentence, and keep checking carefully if you are being led in another (dangerous) direction (instead).
