You will need the 10,000 guys in jumpsuits for sure. But the key to being a super-villain is to have only one, possible two, assistants or bodyguards who can actually do anything. The rest are completely inept and are only there to slow down the superhero when he/she comes to stop you.

It irritates me when the little cardboard Sam Adams coaster (standard issue at bars and restaurants around here) sticks to the bottom of my beer glass and then falls off unexpectedly.

did you find the dubs were always late?
by highdose ini found the higher up the socail rank the dubs got, the more tardy they were for everything, meetings, ministry.
and of course when you invited them round.
so many times i can remeber the food spoiling/burning and 45mins to an hour later they would decide to finaly turn up!

That seems pretty common to me. I remember one family that was notoriously late for everything. When the eldest son got married, I distinctly recall the rest of the family arriving, looking rather embarrassed, AFTER the bridal procession had ended and the wedding talk had begun. Of course, as famiy, their seats were at the front

Is there any hope for the uneducated Jw's?
by highdose ini was thinking of the ones who would say to me " i don't like to read/study" " i'm not really academinc".
are these people doomed to blindly follow the gb forever, thinking that all the study has been done for them and they will just belive what they are told?.
is it mainly the smart thinking people who leave?.

One of the things that really distressed me when I began to have doubts was that there were so many intelligent people in the "truth". People that I looked up to and admired. I would wonder, "Can these intelligent people be so wrong?"
I have come to feel that brainwashing and being thoroughly invested in a set of beliefs has little to do with intelligence. Wasn't it Carl Sagan who wrote that "near the core of the religious experience is something remarkably resistant to rational inquiry"?

Yes, me. After I had decided that my true beliefs were agnostic, leaning heavily toward atheist, and before I had "stepped down", I arrived at the KH one morning and discovered to my horror that I was chairman that day.
I did it, and hated myself for it. Then I read the paragraphs for the WT study.

Yeah, the Amish heater is sort of a joke. It's a Chinese-manufactured space heater with an Amish-made wood surround, at a price of about $300. Spectacular! Order 3 for me!
Of course, beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
