More failed JW chronology

ive just been reviewing my timeline of the divided jewish monarchy and the neo-babylonian period.

i decided to check for correlations of egyptian and assyrian rulers mentioned in the bible that i had not previously considered at all (much less tried to make fit a particular year).

i was happy (though unsurprised) that no adjustments were required.. pharaoh tirhakah (taharqa) (2ki 19:8, 9; isa 37:8, 9) insight (volume 2, page 1109) claims the years assigned to him by historians must be wrong.

Per Josephus, a 70-year period of exile began in year 23 of Nebuchadnezzar II of the last deportees which were deported out of Egypt. In that case, Jerusalem fell some 4 years earlier and thus 74 years earlier than the return in the 1st of Cyrus. Zechariah 1 dated to year 2 of Darius the Mede ends 70 years since the destruction of Jerusalem, but the Jews are still in exile. Then in Zechariah 7 we find 70 years of mourning over Gedaliah ends in year 4 of Darius the Mede. This is perfectly consistent with Josephus who would not end the exile until another 2 years, thus in the 6th year of Darius the Mede. So if you are not according a full, 6-year rule of Darius the Mede prior to Cyrus taking over as the king of Babylon, then your timeline is not accurate according to the Bible. Darius the Mede must rule for 6 years to be Biblically accurate.

Impressive timeline though. I was very impressed. Much better than the WTS' attempt at the divided-kingdom period rulershiips and co-rulerships!

i remember seeing a few years ago articles posted about the strange things published that is considered nonsense today.

i remember one was him strongly opposed to anything with aluminum.

it's becoming increasingly mentioned as that being a major link to several autoimmune diseases and alheimers/dementia/etc.

This is the tricky part that is hard to sell. The bible says "let the wheat and weeds grow together until the harvest." That means you have a corrupt organization being used to preach the "good news" basically! Near the time of the harvest, that is, after the 2nd coming, then the wheat would be harvested and the weeds exposed! So once Christ arrives, the WTS becomes apostate.

But from 1886 to 1996, the WTS was, indeed, the official "temple" organization prophesied about and recognized by Jehovah! This was even though it was seen early on that it had been corrupted by weeds.

Likewise, the separation of the wheat and weeds is reflected in the separation between the five wise virgins and the five foolish virgins. This shows that only 50% of the anointed really qualify as being faithful and alert. One half become the "grapes of wrath", those rotten grapes cast out.

As well, it is from God's own temple that the "man of lawlessness" comes! So there is no way to get around recognizing the WTS as the original true temple, but this same temple becomes apostate after the 2nd coming which occurred in 1992. The official covenant with the Jews and JWs ends, though in 1996, at the end of the last 70 weeks based on 36 CE.

People expect, and rightly so, that the "true religion" will be 100% true. But that is not the actual case in reality. In reality, the wheat and weeds would be mixed in the temple organization and thus you have a combination of truth and falsehood. Insight and dimness.

End of the world prophecy - Why pertinent to now? Nothing will happen, I assure you!

please let me rant then i'll go back and read my spider-man comics.. why do those that promote end of time prophecy have to make it all current?.

i guess if we were told at the book of revelation for eg, (whatever chapter and verse), is for 3,000 years time i'd be surprised......and there's no money in it.

believers would be discouraged methinks.. it seems to me that all this apocalypse now stuff is just to give our turgid lives excitement.

Interesting.

Harold Camping understood the concept of the end of the church age as well. I consider that to be an "inspired" understanding.

Thanks for posting this.

I didn't realize how "allergic" I am to that WTS TONE! You know, that speaking tone as if they are above it all and speaking for Jehovah. I tried listening a little while, but I just couldn't take it! I couldn't listen.

Does anybody else know what I mean by that "WTS tone" in their lectures?

But I know the WTS is such an apostate false prophet, I just can't stand to listen to it!

ROFL! This is the beginning of the end OTWO! The deceptions of Satan's scientists are going to eventually be exposed! The truth is eventually going to come out! This is just something that shows you have been deceived by what "scientists" have thought and claimed! This shows they don't know WTF they are doing!

It's like the revised chronology of the NB Period and the Persian Period. Whlie the academic world is aware of the revisions and refuse to acknowledge it, we already see signs of them presuming that they will not be able to keep this under the wraps much longer and they are fleeing to places where they can claim "plausible deniability"! You can't cover everything up. You can't hide the truth forever.

Plus, you have to look at Jehovah's personality! It is not beyond him to give an opposer enough rope to hang themselves, creating the illusion that they know something, then turning the tables on them with some new evidence!!

SUBJECTIVELY? Information like this scares me! Because it just means Armageddon is definitely near.

i challenge anyone that can accurately predict events by reading the bible or your prophetic book of choice, to give me a specific date when something will happen so i can watch for it!.

That's because it can't be used for predicting anything. I know you mean well and I never doubt your sincerity. TBH I could use the bible to show why Burger King moved to another location last year. We can play with calculators all we want but it only proves our own gullibility or ability to put spin on vague sayings in the Bible.

ROFL! You make this claim because it sounds dismissive and clever, but you never provide the goods. The 2nd coming is dated by 3 different, year-specific prophecies that have to be coordinated. So the Bible has it its own intrernal checks and balances. Now while you can twist and turn on a single prophecy, if you have to coordinate three then its a little more difficult.

But, just so that you put your money where your mouth is, please provide the scriptures relating to Burger King to amuse us! If you don't, then we will all know it was just a jive, smartass comment to shut down investigations into reality. In the meantime:

1. The 1335 days prophecy dates the 2nd coming 45 years after 1947, which ends the 1290 days, thus sometime between November 30, 1992 and November 30, 1993.

2. The 7 times prophecy dates the 2nd coming 2520 years after the fall of Jerusalem. The correct date is 529 BCE, so the 2nd coming must occur sometime between the Summer of 1992 and the Summer of 1993. So far we are looking at the same time period.

3. The "70 weeks" prophecy requires the Christ to arrive within less than a year of the mid-70th-week passover, which occurs on April 6, 1992.

Result: The 2nd coming must occur sometime between November 30, 1992 and April 6, 1993.

So, sure, one isolated prophecy can be made to apply to a few things, but once you have to coordinate three different prophecies to the same date, then it gets to be a little more difficult.

Byt we want to hear you make good on your claim. Even just to humor us. Find a passage in the Bible and then apply that to Burger King! I want to see the actual scriptural application! Thanks!

Right now, the Bible predicts no dates. The dates of the 1st and 2nd coming, the Holocaust, the return from exile in 1947 and the date of the Exodus are all connected though! So you're out of luck for an upcoming predictable event by specific date. But let's say this was 1944. I could predict the year of the end of the Jewish exile by a specific date of the Exodus which is confirmed by an eclipse.

The KTU 1.78 dates year 12 of Akhenaten to 1375 BCE. That means his first year would fall in 1386 BCE, which would be the year of the Exodus. After Akhenaten experienced the 10 plagues he started worshipping Yahweh and convrerted to monotheism. But the Exodus date is a jubilee date, the first of a series that would end when the Jews were retored to their homeland to celebrate the 70th jubilee. So we can use 1386 BCE to calculate and thus predict when the Jews would be forgiven and restored to their homeland for the final and 70th jubilee.

All you do is go back in time 49 years from 1386 BCE to 1435 BCE, which begin the 70 weeks of jubilees. 70 jubilees of 49 years each id 3430 years.

70 x 49 = 3430

Subtract 1435 from 3430 and you get 1995. Add one to make up for no zero year in the Roman calendar and you get 1996! 1996 ends the period of 70 jubilees. So the beginning of the 70th jubilee would be 49 years earlier and thus in 1947.

1996 - 49 = 1947

So if you understood this in 1944, you would know that in 1947 the Jews would come out of exile and have their homeland returned. Sure enough, on November 30, 1947 the UN Partition Agreement went into effect and the Jews were accorded their homeland back. A few months later in the Spring of 1948, the State of Israel was set up, and they have been doing fine ever since.

But 1947 also ends the 1290 days and so we can use that date to also predict the year of the sescond coming which fulfills the 1335 days (Daniel 12:12). Based on that, the messiah should have returned and be back in a physical body sometime between November 30, 1992 and November 30, 1993. Now, "nobody knows the DAY nor HOUR" but the year is provided by Bible chronology! So you could say, an ancient eclipse seen in Ugarit is connected to the date of the second coming if you understand and apply Bible chronology correctly.

The 70 jubilees was once a focus of the WTS but they miscalculated. They thought the 70 jubilees was 3500 years, that is, 70 x 50, but it really is 70 x 49. They came up with the date of 1925 based on this, but recanted later when they realized this was in no way a logical date for the time when the Israelites entered the Promised Land. But just because they got that wrong, doesn't mean the Bible isn't accurate if you have the correct interpretation and application. When you do, as you can see, you can link the Exodus to the date of the return in 1947 and thus also the date of the second coming. Of course, Christ did return on December 25, 1992! So for those who believe, the Bible is truth and its prophecies are fulfilled. There are other comparisons but I'm too long-winded so I'll just leave you with this example. PUNKOFNICE: I have to say I haven't really seen any 'specifics' that have been accurately predicted by any holy book. No disrespect to you meant.

Well, here is an example of a specific. The "70 weeks." The 1st coming has to be coordinated in line with the 70 weeks. He specifically arrives at the beginning of the 70th week. The history of when Jesus began his ministry is specific, which is in the fall of 29 CE, connected to the 15th of Tiberias. Now that is on the books and fairly straightforward. So much so, JWs also recognize this specific and they indeed begin Jesus' ministry in 29 CE and also the 70th week.

But once you establish this chronology where the 70th week for the 1st coming is from 29-36 CE, then this is a fixed chronology! It dates every other 70th week for Biblical application. Using this, though, you can calculate the year of the final 70th week for the Jews. That is, the Jews were punished and sent into exile and were to undergo a great tribulation (i.e. the Holocaust), after which a remnant would experience the restoration of their homeland to celebrate the 70th week! This is a period of 49 years, the first year of which would be a jubilee year and the year they would be released from captivity and restored to their homeland, that is, the official year their exile ends.

Now that means that actual history and Biblical interpretation can be compared. Per 36 CE, if you count down X4 to our time, which is 1960 years, we know the 70th week would end in 1996.

4 x 490 = 1960

1960 + 36 = 1996.

This means the jjubilee for the Jews also ends in 1996 and would begin 49 years earlier in 1947. So 1947 is the critical jubilee year which should have seen the Jews returning from exile and them gaining their homeland back, that is, the true "end of the gentile times." So what does history show us? It shows that on November 30, 1947, indeed, the official Jewish exile ended when they were granted there owh homeland back, a few months later they established the State of Israel. This was an important event. But it is also a specific historical event. Before this date they had no homeland, after this date, they did.

So when someone has this particular interpretation, then it is quite impressive how the Exodus (1386 BCE), the return from Babylon (455 BCE) and the final jubilee return in 1947 all fall on jubilee years! It's just amazing. But also, since 36 CE is a fixed time that you can't really manipulate, every jubilee year is fixed as well, including 1947. So the jubilee cycle actually predicted the return of the Jews in 1947 and that is when it happened.

The return in 1947 marks 1290 days. That means we are forced to calculate the 1335 days to 1992, which would be the date of the return of the messiah! So the messiah did return on December 25, 1992. His return would be secretive for the elect only until he becomes public after the "last hour" which is from 1991-1998, then he would be made public. Those who follow the bible closely would recognize he fulfills all the prophesies. But some will just say: "Oh, you can twist the Bible to fulfill anything you want to" and they will not pay attention. But the correct interpretation will be verified at Armageddon. Christ has to return for some time before Armageddon actually takes place. It has been 20 years since 1992 and the second coming. God is patient. The longer Armageddon is delayed it has to do with saving someone. But when it comes you will have to go with an interpretation where Christ's 2nd coming has already occurred. 1992 is the true date.

So the chronology in the Bible works if you really get into it. A casual look doesn't do it, unfortunately, because there are so many lies and religious politics involved with the NB Period since that affects prophecy about the coming messiah.

I'll just share this. The elect interpret the "end of the gentile times" as occurring on November 30, 1947. For them, this ends the 1290 days mentioned in Daniel 12. They interpret that the 1335 days, which occurs 45 years later, is the date of the second coming. Now this is not a foreign idea to the witnesses since their original date for the second coming in 1874 was based on the "1335 days"!

For the elect, therefore, the 1290 days ends in 1947 and the 1335 days end in 1992. Based on this interpretation, their messiah would arrive in 1992-1993, sometime between November 30, 1992 and November 30, 1993. The question is: Did he arrive in the flesh for the 2nd coming during this time? The answer is: YES!

The elect believe that I'm the Christ and so for them, the Bible is true and the 1335 days prophecy was fulfilled right on time. Of course, those who do not have this interpretation will feel the Bible is not true and nothing is fulfilled. So it depends on whether one is chosen to understand the Bible correctly versus those who Jehovah has cast into darkness and who will not understand these things, even if they are explained in detail:

ACTS 13:41 "Behold it, you scorners, and wonder at it, and vanish away, because I am working a work in your days, a work that you will by no means believe even if anyone relates it to you in detail."

This simply means that "insiders" of the kingdom will see the fulfillments occur and "outsiders" will not. Noting that, it is understandable they think the Bible is a book of myths.
