KerryK The problem is that they announce the same thing from the platform, 'such and such is no longer a jw'.

I guess they just won't announce disassociated ones if it's no longer mandated you need to shun them.

I'm thinking this is how they're planning to get around the non shunning of disfellowshipped minors (which is how they can be legally sanctioned without question). They'll simply ensure all minors are made to disassociate themselves if they're caught committing a 'sin', instead of being DF.

what are your memories of hall cleaning?.

i actually enjoyed it on the whole, my dad as the elder always tried to keep it to under one hour but in my later years in a hard-line congregation it was a chore.

the po's wife had a printed list and we had to complete it all before left (or got disapproving looks if we left after an hour).. as well as vacuuming the whole building the lost said you had to dismantle the vacuum and clean and polish all the internal elements.

I was always assigned to lawn care, so it was a thrill driving a ride-on lawn mower and 15/16 years old. After the clean, we would all go to Pizza Hut (back when Pizza Hut had that buffet and personal pan pizzas served on the skillet pan thing),

on february 22, 2023, anthony morris iii was officially removed from the governing body of jehovah's witnesses.

a few months later it was revealed that the watchtower bought him a house in lumberton, north carolina.. however, and correct me if i am wrong, since leaving the gb nobody has reported seeing tony attending jw meetings or participating in field service.

in fact nobody has reported seeing him anywhere, not even at a local liquor store.

Very understandable you wouldn't want to cause him any distress. But the truth is I bet a lot of people who know him are concerned about his mental health. I mean the folks in his congregation know Toni has always been a true believer, if nothing else. So either he'll be absolutely devastated because he believes the religion he is devoted to has completely lost God's holy spirit. Or he will believe that he is absolutely deplorable in the sight of God - if not utterly wicked - to have to be removed from the GB. Either way he must be in a very vulnerable state. I could totally understand if someone who knew him would check up on him (not saying you of course).

So the first is JW dot org

Second is Wikipedia

Third is Encyclopedia Britannica

Fourth is a piece by the BBC ....no JWdotnet on the first page ☹️Looks like WE'VE dropped the ball!😴
