"The Dresden Files" book series by Jim Butcher has about 10 books. I'm reading the last one, Changes right now. Love them.
I really liked the Sixed Sense too. Ghost. If I'm watching a movie the creep factor better be matched by a great plot.
"paranormal activity", "the ninth gate", "the orphanage", "1408", and "the others" are a few i like to get the ball rolling..

Night shots show contrast and shading of the carving better....
i have been lurking on this site and others for a couple of years now, and i feel it is time to step out and say "hello!
" when i first began investigating my beliefs, it was innocent enough.
i had been reading an article on scientology, thinking; "wow, these people are just plain nuts!!!
No idea how old the kids are, that said; please let them know there is no urgency to get baptized. God will be ready whenever they are. Jesus was 30 after all. Who can be a greater example for their commitment.

cower in fear, watchtower!
I had occasion to care for burn patients in the hospital years ago. The pain that many had is excruciating, (if the burn was 3rd degree or worse the nerves were gone). I really hope this becomes the standard burn treatment soon. How exciting this is!
due to the fact there are about 27,000 members of this religion that are known pedophiles, and the information about it is kept in a secret database file, i wonder how many lurking jw's as well as others are aware of the severity of this problem?
remember, it's 27,000 pedophiles that they know about.
what about the thousands that don't get caught?
Haven't read but the first 3 pages, and I am wondering if the two wittness rule is still in effect?
stories are perhaps the most important thing we can contribute to others in our short life on planet earth.. mind you, i am not saying that stories are the most important things in our lives, because they are not.
the most important things in our lives are experiences, which are moment-by-moment things.
the best we can do with our own experiences is to tell stories about them, which will never convey the actual living of them.
What everyone has said! You tell a mighty entertaining story, and we'd like to know the backstory to your life. I dont want much, huh?
I need to do the same... glad you started the thread, maybe all of us can take your advise about hitting the keyboard. I'll be turning 64 soon and when I faded I still thought it was the "truth". I'll really be irritated if you don't get on the stick tho! Take care of yourself bro.
some light relief!.
even now, i can vividly recall buying my very first 45 rpm single in 1967.. i was only just 15 years old.
i worked as a 'paper boy', delivering newspapers to people living nearby.
"sukiyaki" early 60's bought with babysitting money.

for reasons i've stated in the window washers thread, i will not write and post any more about my life as a jw.. thank you, "yesidid.
" you're a real gem.. farkel.
Shelby,
Your points are very thought provoking.
I think that we should consider the direction we are going as we leave the borg. Trying to make our lives better and help each other out is always right. We all know that.
