It's interesting to sit back and watch this debate as a disinterested observer. I agree that CNN was more tolerable than the others. It was not unbiased, The others went down hill from there, although I can't say for sure about Fox, I haven't watched it in a decade or so.
For those that wonder about my "disinterested" status - I'm a Libertarian. I know, most of you think that means I'm a Republican in disguise. All my Republican friends think we're Democrats in disguise.

it seems that the wealthy witnesses are the elders, the circuit overseers, the governing body... are they really different from any other 'worldly' religions or even organizations?

The nicest elder I ever knew was also the wealthiest person in the congregation. Really a nice guy, who stepped down for a while because he couldn't take the BS from the other elders. They talked him in to coming back because everybody liked him and he made things run smoothly.

Yeah, having ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN, MSNBC and the New York Times spouting Democratic talking points 24/7 wasn't enough.
i have been thinking about how the wtb&t society bullies all of its members into submission with the threats they use (by practice), i.e.
“if you do this we will df you and you will be shunned”.
“if you da yourself, we will make an announcement and your friends, relatives and family will abandon you”, etc.
It works both ways - we can't have people forced to associate with us but in return, we are not forced to associate with them.

Good points Simon. Try saying that you think that BOTH the right to marry whomever you want AND the right to own a gun are protected by the Constitution. I keep running into people who seem to think holding both of those ideas is wrong, or impossible. Or that believing one implies agreement with some extreme position. For example saying that I believe one has a general right to own a gun doesn't mean I'm opposed to background checks.
We've created this horrid all or nothing binary division that makes discussion and compromise a thing of the past. The politicians on both sides won't settle for anything less than all of everything they want. Increasingly, the result is nobody gets anything.

Keep in mind, that law is a reaction to JFK's appointment of his brother as AG in 1961. I was very young, but I can remember the controversy about it.

several years ago, i was introduced to a "wonderful" company called fortune hi tech marketing by a brother and his wife.
they had been introduced by a former sheriff who claims he had researched the company and found no leins or judgments, and that former sheriff had been brought in by a pastor.

1) What is the percentage breakdown of inside to outside sales? Meaning how much of the company total sales are derived from the marketing team.
2) How much of total revenue is generated by conventions, sales meetings, seminars, etc?
3) Percentage of sales is samples and marketing materials?
some time ago i used to work at a hospital.
when my family members would receive treatment at this place, often times they would ask me if i could look up information for them regarding their health.
i always had to tell them that privacy laws did not allow me to bypass the hospital's administration.
I work in a 28 day residential recovery center. We are not allowed to give out any information about a patient, unless they have authorized us, in writing, to give information to that individual. Violating that rule leads to instantaneous dismissal. I'm not sure if that's HIPPA, Washington State law, or company policy; I'm not going to do it.
