What Fun Things Have You Been Doing While In Lock-Down?

so we've all been locked down and there's only so much netflix / prime / disney / hbo you can watch and computer games you can play.

what has everyone been doing to pass the time?.

when you're completely stuck inside and working from home it can get a bit boring staring at the same walls all day and then in the evening as well.

I published an alternate history novel (1910:War in the Pacific) on Amazon in April. . I'm currently doing edits on the sequel (1912: War for the White House). I hope to have that available sometime this summer. The draft manuscript for 1916: War for America is done, edits should be done by this fall. That will finish the trilogy, but I have ideas for two more after that.

I've been working on two novels based very loosely on my association with JW's. They were the first long fiction I wrote and need A LOT of work before they're ready for publication.

Bottom line: I'm happy as a pig is s*** sitting at home and writing away.

Would You Like To See Your Police Departments “Defunded”?

Yesterday the city of Seattle's resident socialist council member (Kshama Sawant) demanded that the Mayor (Jenny Durkan) resign over police misconduct during the ~~riots~~ protests. She also wants the budget for the police department cut in half.

Tonight in a new confernce Durkan said she planned to make the budget cut next year, She did not address leaving office at all. Sawant now says she's going to start an impeachment process, possibly as soon as Monday morning.

For those not familiar with Seattle politics Durkan is a lesbian, and in any other city would be considered well to the left of "moderate." Apparently the local lefties have chose to treat her like Atila the Hun.

I need to check my popcorn supply.

We completely ran out of oil once in the past. Yes, by 1858 we were running out of oil! In 1859 a guy named Drake started pumping petroleum out of the ground in Pennsylvania and we didn't need whales anymore. The US was saved. When petroleum gets as rare as whale oil, I think we'll find something to replace it with, hopefully hydrogen fusion.

Why is this an APOSTATE site?!?

i made a big mistake when signing up at this supposed website for jehovah's witnesses.

after reading some things on this site it has become apparent to me that this site is nothing put another pathetic site for apostates: people who betrayed jehovah, left the truth, and are so bitter about their experiene in the truth, and they are angry just like satan because they know they will very soon be dead at jehovah's hand!.

this website should be renamed something more fitting like "satan's playground" or a similar name that would get across the message of your site.. sincerely,.

Live in Woodinville, Washington, USA. We're a few miles NE of Seattle. While a dub I lived in Pullman, Spokane and Bellevue; also all in Washington. A long time ago I grew up in Cooperstown, NY

Field service national average - what do you think it is now?

it’s always been 10 hours when door to door was active.

i’m curious of how it’s changed with only letter writing and phone witnessing approved.. i’m curious if they are able to do it for 3 hours like a typical door to door morning.

i would be surprised.

Just out of curiosity where do they get addresses and phone numbers for letter writing and calls? I haven't even seen a phone book in at least six years. (Sometime before we moved into current house). Now, if I need to call some one I have their phone number stored in my phone, if I need a business I google it. I think if you're a spammer you just have your computer call every possiible phone number in a given area code.
