Jehovah or Yahweh or YHWH or Jah or whatever he is calling himself on the day in question is a murdering, genocidal, psychotic, lying scumbag. He is a demon from a more ancient mythology.
He is an entity with no sense of ethics, morals, forgiveness, compassion, honesty, or empathy. Jehovah delighted in roasting his victims alive and in tormenting his victims in a varety of creative ways. If you listed out all fo the crimes that he boastfully took credit for in the OT you will have a list thousands and thousands of incidents long.
This demon conned and bullied his way to the top of the godly heap, maintaining his position with threats and coercion, and when that stopped working he just did what any mentally deranged god would do, moved in and murdered entire nations of people.
This 'god' murdered thousands of his own followers, is directly responsible for the genocide of over a dozen nations, well the list goes on and on. Oh, and Jehovah NEVER promised his followers any kind of reward like a heavenly reward. Yes, the "promised" land was given to them, after the original inhabitants were murdered down to the women, children and livestock. But, after death? What then? Not a peep from Jehovah on what reward might be waiting for his followers.

we just finished chapter 2 and i noticed striking similarities i thought i would share.. notice this quote in " crisis of conscience " on pg.
28 & 29 by franz , " thus numerous factors that are relatively common knowledge in many religious organizations are known only vaguely , if at all, by the vast majority of jehovah's witnesses.

my non-JW relatives (I refuse to call these loving people "worldly") showered me with love and helped me a great deal. My mom has 13 brothers and sisters and my dad has 14 brothers and sisters, so there are a lot of us. I saw some of them at my mom and dad's 50th wedding anniversary before my dad died and they were like they had just seen me the day before. What religion I was or was not, whether I was still married to my first wife or not, whether my hair was long or not, none of that mattered to them AT ALL.
My family is pretty awesome.
The WTBTS is totally wrong in its depiction of non JW people.

Make sure you get a degee which is very difficult and specialized so that there will be 10 jobs for every qualified person.
Go on job search sites where employers have to pay to list the job and search for keywords in anything you think you might want to do.
Look at salary ranges in your desired field.
Talk to people who do recruiting. Get the journals for your field and look at the want ads. KNOW that you are getting a degree where there are 10 jobs for every qualified person before you sign up.

Lets do a little experiment. For the next, let's say one week, keep track of all the times that you are "unexpectedly" alone with someone of the opposite sex.
In the elevator, in the little kitchen/break area at work, in the office, in the lobby at the hotel, wherever it might happen.
I'm going to guess that anyone who is fairly active finds themselves "unexpectedly" alone with someone of the opposite sex at least once a day.
Also keep a list of all the times that you had sex with that person.
And let's see what the statistics are at the end of the week.
If the Governing Body is correct, then I'm guessing the % of sexual encounters to being "unexpectedly" alone with a member of the opposite sex will be 50% or more.
Now, to be fair make sure that you shower and wash your hair, men you need to shave and use deoderant, brush your teet, use mouthwash, dress nicely, shine your shoes before going out. We wouldn't want slovenly appearance or bad breath skewing the numbers unfairly.

I'll tell you what really has me upset about this stupid article.
In the beginning when they talk about people living together out of necessity due to financial difficulty, and perhaps this is the only way the person can not be homeless.
I was very active in the quick build program. I was the lead carpenter on more than 1 quick build. I also did painting and wallpaper and drywall.
Anyway, with the societies financial resources and with people trained in the quick build program, the society could EASILY set up a quick build program for brothers and sisters in desparate need. Not a welfare program, but similar to habitat for humanity, only use the quick build approach. Not only could the society do this but they could do it without it costing them any money.
I recommended this for a few hardship cases when I was active in the quick build program and not only did the "brothers" reject the idea, they got upset because I woudlnt' take no for an answer.
If the society was truly concerned about brothers and sisters being so down and out that they have to live in a "dangerous" situation then they could easily provide a practical solution.
Gawd I hate those bastards.

What if two people who are not married to each other unexpectedly find themselves alone together because others who would normally be present are momentarily absent?
There is something SERIOUSLY wrong with someone who would write this kind of nonsense.
SERIOUSLY, just because I mometarily find myself alone with a person of the opposite sex I am going to become a sex crazed animal and just jump on the poor woman? SERIOUSLY??????
My wife and I open our house to people all the time. Our main concern is always how can we give them a safe, peaceful, tranquil, loving refuge for the short time they are going to be here.
My wife is a lot younger than I am and her friends are also a lot younger. NEVER have I been alone with one of my wife's friends and thought about her in any way other than as if she was my daughter or sister.
The senile octaganerians must sit around all day obsessing with sex. That is the only way I can understand why they harp on immorality in such ridiculous scenarios.
