  Conscious Class vs. Fading...

  as i have stated a number of times - i'm really struggling.

  i would like more than anything just to fade away and life my life.

  however, i am not willing to give up my family, specifically my nephew who needs me to stick around.

  what difference does it make what we believe?

  seems like a lot of people are motivated to believe the "right" thing to avoid punishment.

  Going to Heaven...I'm Confused

  so, the whole concept of jehovah having people going to heaven to rule with christ doesn't make sense to me.

  doesn't the idea that christ "needs" helpers insinuate that he is not the perfect ruler that he is portrayed to be?

  why does god need people in heaven?

  A Little sick to my stomach

  i just heard from my family that my little nephew, going to turn 8 soon, just joined the ministry school.

  i felt a little sick when i heard.

  so starts the panting on the treadmill and the "faith by works" routine that leads to imho, superficial christianity.

  the way i read the literature, it is a suggested practice ~ not a command.

  Invalid Baptism

  new to the board, first post.

  just curious if anyone has ever tried to leave because of an invalid baptism.

  if a person felt their baptism was invalid because they did it under pressure, and did not really devote themselves to jehovah, and would not now be baptized if given the chance ~ would they still be disfellowshipped or disassociated??
