Nevertheless, the conscience of some sisters may move them to wear a head covering even in such circumstances.
...and to judge those who don't.
does a female kingdom publisher need to wear a head covering if she conducts a bible study in the presence of a male publisher?.
in a questions from readers item published in the watchtower of july 15, 2002, it was stated that a sister should cover her head if she conducts a bible study in the presence of a male publisher, whether he is baptized or not.
further consideration of the matter suggests that a modification to this direction is appropriate.. if the male publisher who accompanies the sister while she conducts an established bible study is baptized, the sister would certainly want to wear a head covering.
Nevertheless, the conscience of some sisters may move them to wear a head covering even in such circumstances.

my neighbor told me she had been talking about me recently.
"i was saying to carrie in the office i just don't see how anyone can deny the existence of a higher power.
she needed some q-tips, and found a box of them on the free table by the office.
So a solution presents itself to a person's moderate inconvenience in their mostly privileged life and it just has to be a higher power watching over them, making everything better and alleviating their annoyance. Amputees just aren't praying hard enough and have all the QTips they need anyway. Sounds perfectly reasonable.
I probably would have made a joke out of this and said something like 'it must be terribly creepy to have an invisible something watching over you and moving stuff around all the time - imagine what they're thinking when you're in the shower and you can't find the soap!'. The whole notion is hilarious anyway...
if you go to google and just type in, jehovah witness about 10 different articles pop up about tonys comment with the gays wanting men in tight pants!
i didnt play with any other google words yet but comment is getting a lot of publicity!.

Any religious leader expressing an 'opinion' on something like clothing has to know that this 'opinion' will be treated as law by the group and in some cases, will be used as a bludgeoning tool. If he doesn't realize this, the screw is looser than I thought.
literally, a text message to my husband from one of his "friends".
he also wrote, "it's in her hands.
it's her move now.
good lord...
i found out that my husband has not only gone to the elders, but has been going to members of my family about me over a period of a few years.
this piece of news is just so depressing.
i've been wondering how my family knew i didn't go and thats why so many of them have becoming more and more distant.
Finding out how low a good little cult member will go is extremely disturbing. I'm so sorry this is happening to you, Cognac. :(
you know, rarely in the history of the org has a group this large congregated to hear from "mother.
" they incessantly speak of the huge group that met at yankee stadium in 1958...the over 250,000 that congregated to be instructed by jehovah.
but over the weekend, there were over 1,000,000 people excited to hear some type of direction, some type of encouragement, something to help them hang on "just a little longer.".
in honour of jgnat i have completed her template:.
is your wife still an active witness?
no thankfuly - she has only been to the memorail, a convention and the kh once this year and has done none of that for at least 6 months.
I wonder what the expression should be when both are unbelieving.
Happyfied.

Nice to get to know you better, Frazzled.
i celebrated halloween and my birthday and the elders have been told.
husband told the elders i've called the religion a cult.
they said i'm "heading down a road to be an apostate.
"domineering personality" - in other words, you're a strong woman with a valid opinion. Love it! It pisses me off that your husband decided to put the borg ahead of you, but I figured that's how it would be and that's from personal experience...I was your husband back when I was mind controlled. :(
You're handling this beautifully and I'd love to have a drink with you sometime.
this is the scuttlebutt in one of the "bethel congregations" by us.. no details as to exactly what this "faith-testing" announcement might be.. anyone else hear any of this pre-zone visit hype?.
