On my previous post, let me clarify that I understand that being raised in the 'truth' is different.
We all give our parents the 'benefit of the doubt' and believe many things because we trust their honesty and integrity. That is a given.
But, if you were converted from what ever faith was your previous, and you fell for the 'millions living now will never die'. I dunno? A not nice selfish thought, and not very likely, historically speaking, to say the least

I agree with the better use of your mental energy. Jesus never said that we should use the bible as our guide to Christianity or life or anything like that. He did say "Do ALL that I have commanded you and I will be with you until the end of the age"
I don't think that you have realized that you have put all of your faith into someone else's interpretation of a Catholic book.
Make no mistake, the bible is a Catholic book compiled, propagated and protected by them. Somebody sold you on the idea that they knew a better interpretation then the people who gave it to the world. Of course, this type of thinking is at odds with basic common sense. The people who gave the world the bible would know better than a random group of unguided readers. That is why the WTS has a fluid interpretation of the scriptures that changes whenever they change leadership. Think about it.
The bible is not and never was a guide to Christianity, it is a tool used to instruct and correct moral questions and was/is used in the Catholic liturgy. Perhaps some serious studies into accredited historical sources would serve you with real truth instead of the corrupted truth that you have been taught. Tough pill to swallow I know. but...

when to begin the countdown of the 2300 days?
to get an idea, it could be helpful to discern when those days end relative to time times and half a time.. i see a possibility that the 2300 days end the same day as the 1260 days.
that is because the woman in revelation 12 will be fed 1260 days.

The idea that you [or anyone else] would know the hour, the day, the month or even the effin year is ludicrous.
Every generation ever [even before Jesus] thought that they would witness the apocalypse. .

For 30+ years I have reasoned with my brother about the errors of the WTS policies.
Biblical contradictions to the WTS ever changing theology. The whole 'Lying for the Truth'tm thing..aka theocratic warfare.
His reasoning ALWAYS came back to a circular argument which totally deflected what ever issue was being discussed and brought up another point of contention.
Dismantle that point and another is brought up without an acknowledgement of the initial 2 or three points which had been proven false.
You will not reach them without first letting them figure it out on their own first.
You cannot control their decisions, but you can always ask God through prayer and that is never a wasted effort IMsomewhatHO

China's covid numbers started dropping as soon as they expelled western journalist from their country.

he is giving people practical help now and giving hope by proclaiming look to jesus as their saviour.
When I look closely at the WTS, I do not see any fruits at all. Only the tedious works and hardships that some of my family must endure without the benefit of fruits. Works that are, in my opinion, not blessed by the Lord, that's why there's no fruit.....

why did jehovah create the strains of corona virus ?.
is it part of the great tribulation that is closer than ever now ?.
what if lots of his people die from it ?.
What makes you think Jehovah created this?
Couldn't it have been from people making bad health decisions?
And Jehovah allows people to make poor decisions, doesn't he?
i haven’t posted here for years as i have now moved on and am satisfied with the choice i have made to leave watchtower.
however in light of the coronavirus and people in australia and other countries being asked to stay at home i became concerned for a witness sister who lives in melbourne alone who is 88 years old.
today i gave her a call as i don’t trust the local witnesses to care for her.
It's great that you have even reached out to this lonely elderly woman. Just giving her your time is showing great love. If you trust in God [and his mercy, forgiveness, etc]. then it is totally ok and appropriate to share that hope with her. If not, share what you have and that's good too.

so my wife is so diluted and brainwashed.
during this time she is having so much anxiety, mainly because me and my son's want nothing to do with the religion.. so the discussion was, i told her will never go back because they go way beyond what the bible teaches all the time.
i brought up overlapping generation, 607 and then i told her...show me where in the bible that jesus returned invisbly in 1914 and started ruling?
Maybe you could ask what gives the WTS the authority to interpret the bible?
With some 40k different forms of Christianity, how does one know who has the true knowledge [aside from them saying that they have the authority]?
The WTS says so, and that's it? No other evidence aside from their [ever changing] words
