Say there's 105,000 gun injuries in the US every year serious enough to warrant medical attn.
Know what that stat for dog bites is every year? 800,000, and that's just the ones serious enough for medical attn. Dogs BITE 4.7 MILLION people in the US every year. I say we ban dogs.

Tuna casserole
8 oz egg noodles - i like multi-grain ones.
1 cup frozen veggies
1 10.75 oz can condensed cream of chicken soup
1 6 oz can tuna, drained and flaked
pepper, thyme and garlic powder to taste
Bring 3 cups of water to a boil in a med saucepan. add noodes. Cover and simmer 5 minutes (I use other pasta sometimes, such as rotini, and just add a minute or 2 to the simmer time). add veggies, cook 5 minutes more. add other ingredients, heat through, about 5 minutes. Let stand several minutes and eat. -

Are you kidding? First off, you can't take your dog everywhere. Second, there are FAR more maimings, killings, and injuries caused by dogs every year than Guns. ESPECIALLY children. Ask anyone who works in an ER.

by hamsterbait ini dont just mean in the islamic world but in the world of ex jwd.. i am so thankful that at the time i was seeking help and new ideas this board did not ritually hang draw and quarter those who wanted to hang on to thier witness views (even thought they were already swimming alone in a pacific ocean with no boat in sight).
we need to be kind to those we disagree with, not make them feel like satan.. why complain about shunning when we treat those who disagree with our views just as badly.. reniaa is now going back to the cult because there were too many judgmental posts - some of which i found very offensive because they disrespected her as a person.. all of us matter.
so many come here hoping for support.

Renaiia is going back because that is her choice, not because of us. It's called personal responsibility folks. Were some posters rude, pushy, etc.? Likely. This is real life folks, not the hall where many subjects are taboo. If she can't handle criticism of ideas, etc. (and I suspect she can't, dogma, dogma, etc.,) and lacks critical thinking (c'mon, folks, like us, she was raised to think that independant thinking is bad) she just may not be ready. Many of us have gone back and forth, if not all. Alot of us who've been out DECADES still get JW "twinges". If and when she's ready, she will leave. Until then, I suggest we respect her decision, we're allowed, unlike JW's, to do that.

my JWD friend in is jail now...so sad...so desperate.....
by oompa ini am so close to them...but they were so desperate they made a very bad decision....and they had never done anything wrong in their life...it is tearing my heart out.....because there is nothng i can do to help them..and i can not even talk with them.... they are friends to many of us btw....... and ya...the reason they are in trouble is because their jw-ex sicked the police on them.....pathetic....and even though they moved far away...the local elders help the police....oompa.

Look, jail sucks, but if it's for a few weeks, not always a big deal. Been there, done that, youthful bullshit. 56 day stretch for an assault on a Sex offender. It's boring, you can't leave, the company leaves a lot to be desired, but it's a learning experience. And I was in a bad county. Shit jail. Tell him read alot, sleep alot, and get a good atty.
