for non-albertans (a province in canada), a 44-year ruling party got tossed on their ass, with extreme prejudice.. in the last little while, they behaved exactly like wts does to their subjects.. the dark ages - are they ending?.
I was thinking a similar thought. The pcs were in the mindset that an election win was a guaranteed right. The entitlement attitude these guys had was something else.
The governing body also feel they are entitled. The only difference is that we can't vote the governing body out of office.

I know two very well. I think one started partaking strictly for the reason of status. He is a loser in real life and for some reason isn't allowed to be a ministerial servant or elder.
The other is an older lady who started partaking a few years ago. She seems normal.

did you watch the story about the jw who was working as a burger boy at some diner and his boss wanted him to work on sunday during the time of his meeting?
this faithful jw decided he could not attend a later meeting (6 pm sunday meeting) and soon quit his job(or got fired to attend his sunday meeting) so he could attend the sunday meeting he was assigned to.
i think he was on welfare because this story states he won't work on sunday morning because that's when his meeting is!

I really think that was the wts plan all along to baffle the average publisher to make them feel submissive to the organization because they couldn't make sense of nonsense teachings.

i can't quite remember if it's done other days but i believe this is done on the last day.
after todays watchtower lesson, and the lessons coming, something tells me bigger and bigger new understandings are coming.
and that it will culminate with 1914. notice how jesus is now coming, and no longer already here.
the current understanding is both, he is here and hes also coming.
Until people start questioning the overlapping generation teaching 1914 can be used for at least another 50 years.
Now if they said they made a mistake in the math by 100 years and that Christ was enthroned in heaven in 2014 that would make more sense for an end times cult. It would renew the urgency for the ones that would stay and there are enough brain dead dubs that would lap it up and say "what a loving provision from Jehovah"
