  What really pissed me off about this article was the part about anxiety. They basically said don't be anxious.

  Hello! Anxiety is a major disorder that may need medical treatment.

  A guy I work with says they put crack in their coffee to get people addicted.

  One co I know worked wages for about 15 years before he was a co. He had a pension plan. The branch made him sign his pension over to them when he became a co.

  Whatever Happened to the Remnant?

  back in the 50's, when i was just a skinny kid, my father became po of a new congregation.

  he'd only been baptised for around 4 years, so his rise was quite remarkable.just one of his flock in the new cachement area was of the "remnant".

  this lady was well into her 60's, childless but married.

  Daughter of Elder Reinstated Within Months!

  a young sister in my husband's congregation who is the daughter of an elder has been reinstated in a matter of months.

  whereas another sister in the same congregation has been disfellowshipped now for nearly two years!.

  seems like it's who you know..

  In my old congregation one of the elders daughters was living with her boyfriend for at least a year No disfellowshipping or reproof. Kinda sounds like a common occurrence.

  Desperate times move some to desperate measures. I definitely don't agree with this guy poisoning the elders wife and kid with round up but maybe it will make other elders think of the possible consequences when the disfellowship someone.

  It looks like this guy went over the edge when he got dfd.

  Shunned or actually...not treated much differently?!

  so today on my way to work, i passed a faithful jw sister who i have met about 6 times and spoken to and was friends with a sister she spends a lot of time with, i looked at her and smiled and she looked through me.

  i wondered if she knew to shun me.

  i'm dating someone when i have no photographic evidence that i am free to remarry ;) let's ignore all forms of abuse and unfaithfulness...anyway!.

  A lot of people just don't fit in with the Jws. Myself and mrs hoser certainly don't.

  Ohiamfree, you think too much and only allow yourself to be treated with dignity. That is why they are puzzled by your actions.

  A funny thing happened to me the other day. I was at the hardware store buying a gallon of paint and a "brother" from my old hall was there. He totally ignored me as if I didn't exist. There must be some wild rumors going about that I'm bad association or maybe I've been marked and haven't found out about it yet.

  The probabable reason he shunned me is because I have started to respect myself and Jws can't handle that.
