If you volunteer at a Kingdom Hall do so at your own risk. I know a ministerial servant that was injured at a hall build and he ended up losing his house because he couldn't work for close to a year.

The reason why the mall was renamed lone pine mall was that Marty ran over and killed one of old man peabody's pine trees with the delorean when he entered 1955.

Bygone Days of Old Bethel...

people that made their pilgrimage to jw mecca (bethel) would often be excited about some silly things, i say silly because for those of you who were there or lived near enough to be involved in these things regularly they lost their magic.
i am talking about on tours one of the most memorable things people talked about or looked forward to... lunch.

House cleaning is getting axed. All Bethelites will now be in charge of cleaning 100% of their rooms. Apparently a lot are annoyed at this because it will all have to be done on their time and never during work hours or in place of any other service.
Welcome to the real world folks. Myself and mrs hoser have been responsible for cleaning and up keeping our house since we left our parents. And no we can't do it on company time either. After we have worked 50 hours each for the week then we get to clean house, maintain the yard, cook for ourselves, maintain vehicles and still get put down for not doing enough for " the truth".

No theocratic school or service meeting starting 2016 -
by MissFit injws from my congergation stopped by my house during their saturday service time to "catch me up on new changes".
apparently they are totally changing the format of the ministry school and service meeting.
has anyone heard about this?

After the meeting last Sunday when they read the letter about the changes mrs hoser said that sometimes change is good. She also said that I probably already knew about the new meeting a long time ago. I said you don't have to worry about doing talks on the school anymore. She laughed.

The amazing part is how fast people forget what is "taught" at the assemblies.
I love it when snooty pioneers and elders say how encouraging the assembly that we just attended was and then I ask them what points stood out as being important.
When all they give is well um we learned about Jehovah, Jesus etc I tell them they should have payed better attention to the program. Yes, I'm becoming more of an asshole to these kinds of people every day.
