  my dad and i would work on different "pioneers" vehicles in our kingdumb hell.

  and to nuts and bolts they where real "hoopties" anytime ready for the crusher.

  both my dad and i would work with our skills to keep their cars running since they don't have a real job to get a real working car.

  I helped out pioneers who would ask for my money out of one side of their mouth while saying I was spirituality weak out of the other side. Talk about craziness. I just don’t help anymore. Time to look after me. Get a real job or find some other sucker to mooch off of.

  Just invited to a zoom memorial.

  walked away from the trooth years ago(over 20) my older sister sends me an invite to the memorial via zoom.

  i have no interest in jwism at all.

  should i ignore or respond?.

  so are individual witnesses being told to prepare bread and have wine on hand for the zoom memorial?

  are they saying it’s “vital” or is it just a “suggestion?” .

  It is virtue signalling. Making an external appearance of spirituality. It is the same as wearing a convention badge to the zoom meeting last summer to be seen by others. It is the same as having a visible share in the ministry when we used to go door to door.

  This religion is a joke. If they could just see themselves from the outside they would realize how shallow and superficial they really are. Jehovah’s witnesses wouldn’t know spirituality if it hit them in the side of the head.

  in the article, the whole proposition of refusing the emblems is based on the personal experience of one brother in the 1930s.!

  In the latest? jw.borg video Lett used some scripture to show that anointing can happen many years after baptism. So a person with the earthly hope can at any time proclaim themselves anointed and be appointed to the governing body. I’m not sure if this is noo light but it is a convenient way to keep the sham alive.

  Notice how many new governing body members come from outside headquarters? I did. A big fat Zero. They are all chosen from the inner party. Being anointed is a job requirement so they have a sip of wine on memorial night to keep their job

  Is the collateral damage acceptable? 2-4 % of convictions are overturned as being erroneous. Is it socially acceptable and beneficial to sacrifice a small percentage of innocent persons to protect the majority of law abiding Americans?
